My Twilight Princess Demo review.

Hey ZU Boards, today I got back from Georgia I visited my family there they live in Marietta a little north of Atlanta. Well I was planning on going to the Fusion Tour for a while ( I had to stay an extra day to go). Anyway when I got the tickets weeks before I was dissapinted there was going to be no Twilight Princess demo. Man am I lucky. We get to the tabernacle ( we got there a little late since we have never been to Atlanta before and got lost). I go in and play Wii sports which was very fun. The controller was much thinner then I expected I thought it was going to be fatter then that, it fit into the hand easily to. I was passing by and I noticed a T.V. that had a big fire creature on it sure enough there was the Twilight Princess demo. I freaked out and went crazy I had to wait in a line but when I got up to the T.V. I jumped, I was soooooooo happy. Now here is my review.

Twilight Princess demo: 9.5/10

Phew, I get the controller and it was the same as the E3 version and that Wii event demo. It had the Goron Mines and the fishing. So of course I picked the dungoun demo. You have to press A and B which to my suprise was in the back of the controller. So it begins and Midna talks to you and I quickly pressed A to get through it. First thing I do is swing the Wiimote like a maniac and Link swings the sword. Then the guy in control told me I could just flick my wrist which was much much easier. Now it was so wierd that the demo was mirrored because I am so used to the e3 videos and it made me kinda shocked. Well to get to the point Zelda Tp on the Wii was SOOOOOOOOOO much better then I actually expected. To tell you the truth IMO forget the GC version.

As much as I hated that nintendo switched it I have to be honest and say this is the funnest time I had in a video game since Mario 64 on n64 my god it is so awsome. Yeah he Link is a little off with your swings but it wasn't a problem at all. I hit the scarecrow and went to the first Moblin. I was flicking my wrist very fast for the first guy but then I got used to it ,I flicked it slower as the demo went on. Now the one problem for me is the bow. Well it wasn't really bad but it kinda got annoying when you had to point at the screen because when I was playing my hands were at my stomach while I was swinging the sword, when I picked the bow I had to point it at screen or it will say something like please point at the screen and link won't move. Kind of like when you don't have the controller plugged in.

It kinda of got annoying when you want to do it fast and you have to keep on switching your hand gesters around but it wasn't that big of a problem. Now me being observant I looked around the map and I noticed shovels on top of the map ( maybe being underground). Well since I dumbly just tried to find thing's out, my time ran out and I had to give up the controller. I didn't even get to fight the damn boss. The line was long and I didn't fell like waiting again. But from what I played guy's Twilight Princess on the Wii was one of the smartest things Nintendo did. It felt new and extremely fun. I didn't get tired at all and I wanted to play for so much longer.

That's my review if any of you guy's have questions feel free to ask hopefully I can answer. BTW sorry if my punctuation and spelling got bad this was a long type and I didn't feel like going crazy with spelling and puncutation.

Yeah I think they replaced it with Metroid Prime 3 because that wasn't at the show.

Nice review...

But there's still no reason for you to tell us to forget the GC version .

Yeah sorry about that I got carried away. The only reason I want the gamecube version is because I don't like the fact they mirrored the game for the Wii.

Is it still going to be there? I was planning on going to the Vegas one, but I'm not sure if I will.

Re: My Twilight Princess Demo review.

I have no clue, I didn't even know it was going to be there. I think they replaced it with Metroid because I kept on reading that it was always buggy at the Fusion Tour.

Some people aren't going to be able to afford the wii at launch anyway, but good review anyway

It's not so much that the mirroring bothers me as much as that there's no 360 camera control and the auto-shielding in the wii version. Plus I'd rather play by traditional means first, rather than experimentng with a control scheme I may potentially not be great with.

Re: My Twilight Princess Demo review.

When I played I didn't move the camera, it was kinda like OOT, I didn't like that either. I will agree on people not having the money to get a Wii. To tell you the truth after what I played, I am going to get a job so I can afford the Wii.

Re: My Twilight Princess Demo review.

I have one question, is there still automatic sheilding?! And does the fairy pointer move erratically when you swing the wii-mote? I must know!

Re: My Twilight Princess Demo review.

Keep in mind that it's still a demo and does not necessarily completely reflect the final version.

I´m not sure, but I can guess: Most (most) probably, the autoshilding is still there, as it is the same version we saw at last E3. Bu
