Re: WW problem

I'd just leave them be. If they don't like it, be for it's looks/it's Nintendo/it's too kiddie.... that's fair enough.

Don't waste your time.

Re: WW problem

I just don't care if my friends disagree with something usually especially video games because opinions are really cool.

Re: WW problem

Hey the graphics might not be as we remember them, such as Oot and MM but the storyline is still strong and that's really what's most important in WW's case. I absolutely adore the game although my friends didn't. I let them come over and play for themselves, my friend Cody didn't want to go home afterwards, he wanted to finish the game! So basically, if your friends don't like it, there's really nothing you can do but let them find out on their own.

Re: WW problem

Tell your friends that it's their loss if they don't like WW, and just go about your own way. Don't get yourself worked up about it.

Re: WW problem

If your friends don't like WW then they don't like it. But they may eventually come around if they actually try the game like my friend.

Re: WW problem

they are just opinions, you like it, and they don't like it, is not bad they don't like it, unless they have never played it

Re: WW problem

Well, I was skeptic over Wind Waker and refused to buy it for awhile because not just the graphics but the whopping price of $50. Well, after shopping around at a Best Buy, I saw the game for $20. Still skeptical, I asked a geek squad member about it. He convinced me of its worth so I bought it. Ever since, I haven't been able to pry my fingertips off the controller.

If your friends don't like WW....WHO CARES???? Im a HUGE WW fan and I literly attack anyone who makes fun of it.But if your friends don't like it,ask them why and tell them, "NO matter what the challenge,no matter the look, and Zelda game is still a Zelda game."

Re: WW problem

It may simply be easiest to let them not like the game until they play it back in the future. After all, I know that I pick up more older games than I pick up modern games as I like the nostalgia of playing old games.

Re: WW problem

What is with the "Leave them alone and let them have their opinions" comments?

First you kidnap them and then take them to your lair (you do have one, right?) then you tie them down to a chair and make them watch you play it. They will change their mind.

WW is a great game and they will eventually like the game once they give it a chance.

Re: WW problem

I love zelda, and I don't absolutely hate the Wind Waker but with common sense it definitely is not a good game. Fair enough if you like being on a boat and watching your player sail through an empty ocean and not actually moving it yourself.. just leaving your controller next to you as it floats away... Having your parents look at you like "wtf, why are you just sitting there watching a guy on a boat when you could be outside playing basketball" then have fun with tWW but it's not that good really! I'm not saying that because it's kiddy!! Don't assume that! PLEASE! On a professional view they did good work on it but it failed to entertain its audience. It's NOT a good game. So leave him be with tWW and woo him in to getting a Wii and TP. That game ought to tickle his fancies if he knows anything about anything.
