The Twilight princess Master sword.

Ok so, I made this thread because i notcied the master sword looks a little different from how it used to be. Does this mean something? Is the location the same? Is it still in the temple of time, hyrule or the dark world? Post comments on this here, Explain what you think this could mean for the Legend of zelda twilight princess.

whats up with the gold? I just started this thread because i was curiouse about it and i want to know. Sorry for the mess up.

What gold, you mean the yellow dimond? That is always there.

He's talking about the gold detail around the hilt. That's not the only difference, either. The Master Sword in Twilight Princess has little "horns" on the wings of the hilt. They're probably just there to make the sword look more badass than it already was.

The only difference I've noticed is that it's much longer than what we're used to.

It doesn't mean anything, it's just a redesign.
That clip was kind of interesting though. The Master Sword is probably located inside the ruins of the Temple of Time.

The mastersword can be redeisigned without any explanation, it's simple game design and production desiscions.

But the location of the mastersword is very important, from the most recent screenshots, it looks as though it resigns in an abandoned and decrepid temple of the time, forest overgrowth coveres the walls, and the ceiling itself is missing.

So does this mean than after OoT (the adult ending) that perhaps in order to rebuild hyrule all it's denizons simply moved up north to a new land?

I really didn't like nintendo showing the clip of link taking out the MS that kinda ruins the fun of finding it and stuff. And in WW the power of the MS had been gone and you had to regain it.
But in TP it looks like it havent loost it's power becouse of the glowing dimond.
Then i wonder what will happen in TP that will result to the power loss of the MS in WW.. ?

That doesn´t necesarily has to happen in TP. We don´t even now if WW is after TP, I´m sure there will be other game between TP and WW.

For the MS thing, there isn´t any good difference, just the new look of it for fitting the new style and improved graphics. And that´s all.

And for the place where the sword lies, I think (as said in my analysysysysis) that it´s still in the Temple of Time, but ruined, as TP is after OoT in the timeline and I can assume that nobody took the MS from the Pedestal of time.

Some would think that it´s not the Temple of time anymore... But it could still be it if no other temple of time was built instead of this old thing. This ruins could even have the same purpose as before...

Though this purposes are just hold the MS and... Oh!!! The gates to the Sacred Realm!!! Remember this. It´s a wild, crazy prediction for now, though. But remember it. Maybe I´ll add this to the analysis... though that is an old, and dry thread. But anyway.

It was just a redesigned from the developpers... no reason to be asking a million questions over it

Which is why I paused and exited the clip as soon as I saw Link. No spoilers for me!

Anyways TP is a few decades after OoT, WW is hundreds of years after OoT, we may not even see Laruto or Fado in this game, so there would be no excuse for the Master Sword to lose power.

I'm more intrested in how the Master Sword gets into the basement of Hyrule Castle. This game may just explain that.

I looked really hard at different clips and pictures, but I noticed no significant difference with this MS besides the pimpin' graphics.

The Master Sword's design has changed in each game it has appeared in. In ALttP (according to the official artwork), it was silver. In OoT, the Master Sword had the same basic design, but it was now indigo. In Wind Waker, the design slightly changed at the bottom of the handle. Now it TP, it is longer and has those two spikey things on it. Personally, I think the Master Sword in TP looks the best, it actually looks like it can repel evil unlike those other wimpy looking Master Swords from the past games.

I really don't think the sword in the trailers is the Master Sword. You never get The Sword of Evil's Bane that early in any game.

Erm... are you serious? That IS the Master Sword. Unless it´s a fake sword, then that would would be a pretty good plot twist... but well.

And we don´t have ANY kind of clue of from what part of the game this scene could be.
