Master Quest ?

Why wasn't ALttP included on the master quest?

Maybe they were just too lazy. Plus, many people here told me that they wouldn't want to see modified version of ALttP.
Who knows, when the time comes, maybe it will be! But, it just won't have the same flame, that's true.

Master Quest was a "harder" version of Ocarina of Time that Nintendo did create for the defunct DD64. They were playing on releasing this Disc Drive extension for the N64, and Master Quest was going to be released, but the DD64 was never released. Therefore, that's why.

Besides, they released ALttP later on GBA, anyway.

No he wasn't! If I recall it right, Master Quest was not in the Collector's edition. He meant the GC CD with OoT and MQ there. But including Alttp in this? Well I guess the CD had not enough capacity to have it.

Exactly. I believe that they didn't put AlttP on the collector's edition becuase they were remaking for the GBA with Four Swords. No need to remake it twice...

It is. AEF Link probably just got confused with Master Quest and the Zelda Collector's Edition.

Well LoZ was released on the Collector's Edition AND for Gameboy so I don't see the harm of including ALttP in the CE disc. On the other hand, I don't care now since we have the Virtual Console on Wii.

Wasn't aLttp released on the SNES too? Well cool! It will be for GC, Wii, and SNES. Cool^^

Yes, ALttP was originally released on SNES but will not be released on GC.

Right, you can download it using the Wii's Virtual Console (with a slight fee of course).

Yea thats what i thought to, oh well seems not. Hmm it still bugs me that i never got it. Grrr

I think part of the reason is that they released ALttP on GBA with the first Four Swords game.

Yeah, that could be right. They released FS, and then inserted ALttP for probably two reasons:

1) For people who don't have three friends with GBA to play FS
2) To promote a succesfull game for people who don't own a SNES and/or who never played the Original ALttP.
