Quick Question i don't think that i've seen asked yet...

this is it... has nintendo said wether or not the 3 goddess will be in TP??
it would be cool if u could have some gameplay as Nayru, Farore, and Din...
or at least have some interaction with them in battle.... perhaps show that u truly are the Hero of Time that u're claimed to be...

No they have not said anything about the godesses yet, or even anything about the triforce for that matter.

that's rilly strange ... when it comes to a zelda game, i always thought that the goddesses... and especially the Trifore... would be the 1st thing (other than the fact that Link and Zelda are in the game) that would be brought up...

Some Zelda games don't mention the Triforce.

I don't think we'll see the actual Triforce itself. TP supposedly takes place a few decades after OOT. If that's the case, then Ganondorf should still have his Triforce of Power. The Zelda in this game looks too young to be the same princess Zelda in OOT. It's probably a different Zelda, but it may be possible that she's able to stay young (due to some sort of magic; or due to the Triforce of Wisdom); but it's unlikely. Then again, the lifespan of Hylian isn’t really known. Either way, the Royal Family will most likely have it whether it be with this new Zelda, or possibly her mother; OOT Zelda. Who should be queen of Hyrule (if she's still alive).

The Triforce of Courage was separated from OOT Link when he went into Termina.

The King doesn't even know where the shards are. This leads to the fact that the shardes were never found until WW Link gathered them during his quest. Besides, I highly doubt TP Link will gather the Triforce of Courage shards and then hide them again in TP. It just isn't likely.

So, we might see the Triforce of Wisdom, but that's about it. The Triforce of Courage is lost and Ganon had the Triforce of Power (unless you count seeing Ganon as also seeing the Triforce of Power). We defiantly won't see it as a whole.


I highly doubt we'll be able to play as the goddesses. Fighting the goddesses would be out of the question (they're gods, Link doesn't stand a chance). We might be able to see them, or possibly interact with them, but it's highly unlikely (unless TP shows Hyrule being flooded).

I just remembered! Actually the triforce has been mentioned, or hinted at anyway. has everyone forgotten about the e3 2005 video? quite early on theres a shot of link walking through the forest with the triforce marked on his hand. I know the game has gone through some pretty major changes since then, but I'm sure they won't have changed something as fundamental as whether or not the triforce is included in the game.

it is true that the king of the red lions did say that when the hero of time left hyrule he was supposedly seperated from the triforce. But the fact that it is all myth and lno one really knows whats happened between those times means that they have alot of room for unexpected events. I don't know how TP Link has the mark, but it is definately on his hand!

It's probably a mark that signifies his destiny or something like that.

The Triforce--that is, the three triangles--don't seem to play an active role in this game based on the information available thus far. The Master Sword, however, has never existed where the Triforce's threat does not, so... we'll see.

Nintendo doesn't usually confirm anything Triforce related so I think the story will have the usual MS+Triforce+Zelda mix.

I'm sure the goddesses will play an important role in TP, whether it's relatively directly, as in TWW, or simply implicit, as I believe it was in MM. Given that TP is set between OoT and TWW and Ganondorf plays a significant role, TP should show what went so wrong in Hyrule that the goddesses chose to flood their beloved land.

I don't think the Goddesses will appear as actual entities.
