About Four Swords for GameCube...
In this screenshot, you can see the castle from Wind Waker.
What I don't get now is... Is this game AFTER TWW or BEFORE TWW? What is the castle doing there? Is Four Swords before the flood of Hyrule? I have too many questions in my head, if someone can, please explain, or post your thoughts on this. I don't see how this is not a part of the Zelda timeline, since it is a full game, and not a bonus game. I also saw a screenshot (which you can see by clicking here) of that big bird that kidnaps Aryll in TWW. This game shows strong signs of being related to TWW... I also saw a screenshot of a place from ALTTP... Atleast it looks like from ALTTP. Click here to see it. I saw more pics that reminded me of ALTTP alot, so I am curious about it. You know what, check out the screenshot gallery for it here.

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
It is pointless to attempt to fit it into a theory until it is actually released and we find out what it's story and everything is.
Moved to GC Zelda.

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
SearanoX, please delete that post at once, seeing as it is completely pointless. Make more 'real' posts instead. Or edit it.
Anyway, it will surely matter, because it will be a FULL game, not some bonus game. And I'm not gonna make up theories here, because we all knows what happens then. *Looks at l-o-s and DrZaius1* ![]()

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
Why should I delete that post? Am I not entitled to my opinion? It's true, though. I could have put in a bit more information.
It's a full game, is it? And who told you that? Did Shigeru Miyamoto appear to you in a dream and tell you that it was so? It's the same thing as Four Swords on GBA. Do you think that it fits in with the rest of the storyline. I don't think so. It's the same thing with this. First of all, it was revealed concurrently with Tetra's Trackers. Does stamp collecting appear to be part of the main quest? Does Soul Calibur II fit into the Zelda timeline? Does Mario Tennis have anything to do with platforming? As far as I'm concerned, Four Swords, no matter how good it is, is still nothing but a clever marketing ploy by Nintendo to show off its "revolutionary" connectivity feature. It may be the best Zelda game ever, but I doubt that it's meant to be taken all that seriously. |

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
Copy/paste the URLs Yoshi.
Searanox: There is no reason to discount the original Four Swords from theories. After all, it is a game in it's own right, one with a backstory, a story, and characters. It is nothing like Link in Super Smash Bros or Soul Calibur. Obviously I'm not sure yet, but form what I've seen, I'm willing to bet that the GC Four Swords will be the same.

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
How can you know that the game is NOT a full Zelda game? Who are you, the all knowing elder? I know it because I read it at a Nintendo site some months ago, and I think one of the Nintendo employees said it in an interview about Tetras Trackers.
He said something like this: ''Four Swords will not be a bonus game like the one on GBA, it will be a new game with a new story and characters.'' And I still think you should delete it. But of course you are not going to, since you are probably doing everything just to reach to that special number called 5000.

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
Will, stop your flaming. Post count does not matter to me at all. If I had truly wanted to, I could have made 5K much, much earlier. By the way, you'll see that I deleted the post, even though I don't think it's necessary to do so, especially now that people won't be able to follow what the debate is about because it's gone. You're welcome.

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
I guess I went too far there, sorry. Thanks for deleting it, but I wouldn't have cared if you did it or not to be honest. I still think Four Swords will be a full game though.

I honestly don't see any reason to not count this as a full game. It is no less then any other Zelda game.

Re: About Four Swords for GameCube...
Yeah, I know, l-o-s. I s'pose we'll simply have to wait and see what the main storyline is, though I have a feeling it's going to be one of those "afterwards" or "meanwhile" things, or, an "alterante" sequence of events. Think the Warcraft III demo. They have some exclusive missions in which the Orcs end up on some island in The Raging Maelstrom. We don't catch wind of that in the full game, yet it exists in the demo. Something like that could be happening to Four Swords GCN.
Yeah... |
