The Twilights Control
WARNING: THREAD CONTAIND MINOR SPOLIERS, KINDA
In two of the boss battles I've seen, the monkey and the "balrog", the most distinctive aspects of them is their stange crests and the fact that they don`t die after you beat them. In the monkeys case the crest, the strange thing on their head, didn`t just fall off but it crawled around before it exploded. In the "balrogs" case his crest exploded and a great amount of darkness left him while he shrunk, leaving us with a saspicously goron shaped figure. This Twilight crests seem to be changing creatures into bosses while in the normal world and they also seem to be alive. I'd apreciate all your opinons on them including how they might help spread the twilight and how are they connected to Midna's hat? Those are just for starters, so feel free to post. PS: Sorry for being so formal, this is my first thread.

Re: The Twilights Control
They are both controlled by the Twilight. The "balrog" for example, might be just a goron who changed shape and became evil because of the overpowering of the Twilight within him.

Re: The Twilights Control
True, but is Midna`s hat related to their crests? Maybe she was a Twilight creature until that missing piece of her mask was knocked off and she was freed. And how can these crest/spider beings get to Hyrule fom the Twilight? Through portals? If any one has ideas or information, its needed.

Re: The Twilights Control
Well, if we knew all the answers... well, then we'd have played the game, wouldn't we?
Unfortunately we don't have answers for these mysterious Twilight Spiders at this time. They seem to transform/control all that they attach to... but other than that... Think of this game as a very large, 10,000 peice puzzle. Nintendo has given us around 20 of the peices. If you had the same scenario, would you perchance be able to, with those 20 peices, be able to know the entire width and height of the puzzle? Would you know its exact contents and every detail on the entire thing? Sadly, that's where the guesswork comes in. We use various shades of theory glue to hold it together until we know whether or not it can stick, and if it doesn't we try some other shade of the stuff... It's very much a shot in the dark, at this point. Luckily, we've mostly been given corner peices and outside peices. That way, we don't just have a puddle of useless glue.

lol wow it's just harmless speculation until we get the game. Nice analogy though.
