One thing excited me about that trailer... it was the 2 second shot of the town... Put please for the sake of Atmosphere have more than 1 town this time round nintendo... OoT would have been perfrct if it had had one more village like Hyrule market town or Kakariko village...

TW would have been considerably better if it had had a few more real islands/ports etc.

No matter How many times I will see it. I'll always Like TP.

I've noticed that as well.

It's just a guess, but I believe that Toaru village will be overtaken by the twilightrealm and that the townspeople have fled and taken refuge in that town, which may or may not be located outside hyrule. Nintendo said there are other towns outside of hyrule, we just don't know if we'll be able to visit them. Could this be one of the towns?

This makes everything a lot more interesting, why exactly are the boarriders there as well? Are they after the people from toaru village or are they there to spread the twilight?

Time will tell.

Let's just say I was ecstatic when I first saw the shot of the town in the new trailer. After comparing that shot with the town screenshots Nintendo released last August, it's hard to deny that the delay was an extremely good idea.

looks like it could be Hyrule market + Kakariko X 10 doesn't it.

What were teh shots from august like? must have missed em.

Have you noticed something, when link rides into the field with "Epona" the "R" button blinks and a japanese text appeared. Also there seems to be a mountain in the horizon and a tower of some sort to the right.

And I also saw these two places looks the same so I asume the same thing.
Also I believe the theory forgetreality has is very possible.

And one more thing, dont you think its wierd that the goblins are taking hostages AGAIN? It most certainly have something to do with the plot and no adults have been captured this far... maybe something to make Link act? Maybe a sinister project someone has and that is about putting people into the twilight realm to make it stronger or just to see the effects.

The first 3 shots are definitely in the same place. But I can't see how the fourth one is like the first ones.
Looks like a quiet town, and a then a busy market.

Hmmm very interesting find, but yeah I think the first three shots are the same place. The forth has to be a totally different town.

How many times have they said they're going to make it better than OoT? They're REALLY trying to make it the BEST Zelda game EVER. When they say something like that, they really mean it. I'm willing to bet its got alot more towns that OoT could of ever had.

I agree. The first three shots are from the same area, the fourth one isn't.
For the record, I think the cutscene in which Link dodges Epona could be his reunion with Epona after she disappeared at the same time as Ilia and Colin.

And these screens may be from the same area, covered in Twilight.

I agree with Bomber 5, the last screenshot has nothing to do with the others.

I´m sure that Taoru village has been infected by the twilight, in the new trailer, there is a place with some rocks with glowing runes, and a dragon or something, and I remember that in that place, the boars kidnap Ilya and Colin.

And i also think taht after they kidnap them, they atack Taoru. I love the way they made the town, it´s sure to be the biggest town. I´ll love to just take a walk in that town and talking to people. In that scene, a goron can be seen in the left, I suppose that some gorons became bad, while others decided to live with the people.

Imagine going to clock-town o.0 that would be so awesome although I doubt it would be possible.

Yes, I've noticed the similarity between the child chase, and the epona dodge scenes.

But the big question I have is, is it toaru? Based on pure first impressions I would say no, the shops look too complicated and the valley makes in look like it's kakariko.

So then how did the children travel so far to another village, and what are the maurauders actually after??

They sure changed the appearance of Taoru, maybe it was TOO happy for the game general feel.

What are we looking at??? I have no Idea!! A little more detail would of helped.

EDIT: Wait nevermind, I think I get it...but, what does it have to do with anything? Maybe its right outside the market or something. And what does the last picture have in it the same? Whats so cool about that.

I don't think this is Taoru village.

Taoru village is outside of Hyrule, where Link is a farm boy in a nice little area (I'm sure Nintendo wants to keep the beginning just the way it is). Personally, I see no reason to change the village. Besides, this new village doesn’t look like an area where there are wide open spaces, and fresh grass and pastures (which is needed for a farm).

Another thing that caught my mind... the village(or whatever it is) in those first three pics you showed looks a lot like the twilight village in the new screens.
