Was The wind waker too easy?
I just wanted to know if people thought tWW was too easy, did you like the easyness or was it awful... I didn't die until Ganon's tower the 2nd time I played the game...... It makes you beat the game quicker which is bad in a way. The bosses were all like Ghoma from OoT! TOO EASY! Oh well it was still fun
Although... Puppet Ganon was HARD! Ganon was simple though, I lost like half a heart! |

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
I found some bosses were actually challanging to me a bit. It took me awhile to figure out the first boss. I had to use the grappling hook or whatever to grab onto Vallo's tail.
I also had problems with the Snake form of Ganon's puppet. It was too fast, and I couldn't him so well with the Light arrow. The Earth Temple boss reminded me of my dad. Big and chubby! ![]()

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
This game was boring and easy. I remember buying the game on a saturday, and started played at 12. By 6 of the same day, I was already finished with the 3rd dungeon, and I was not rushing myself, I did some sidequests and fill the overworld map partially. This game was short, easy and boring.

Wind waker was either hard or easy for me... Some of the puzzles were hard, espiecialy getting the triforce pieces... The bosses were way too easy though. I think i only died once fighting the regular bosses, and only twice fighting Ganon. That's wrong, he should have been harder. The only boss i had trouble with was puppet Ganon. That was overly hard. Espiecally the snake... It moved way too fast! It was impossible to beat him. Other than that, the game is way too easy and i was too bored to keep playing through a second time.

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
Esy? Yes. Boring? Heck no!
There always was something to do, it seemed. Yes, some parts were a bit tire-some, like all the sailing. But hey, it gave you time to relax. Besides, the music was good. I would've preferred the game to have more of a challenge. But I guess that's up to us how hard we make it. Maybe next time I won't use the parry, L-Targeting, or Fairies.

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
Short and Sweet.
Everything in this game felt a little too shot or too easy, and the Boss battles were not as intense as other Zelda games, but it was a great game to play - I really enjoyed the Sidequests. Puppet Ganon, however, was quite a difficult boss. End-Game Ganondrof was much too easy to be an end-game boss... That part was dissapointing. |

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
It was good. Thing is, it was too short in content. I also consider it way too easy, especially when it came to bosses. I mean, especially ones like Jalhalla (Earth Temple) were absolutely ridiculous. Bosses are supposed to get harder as you go on, not easier.
Also, Molgera was a very simple boss, simple in that it doesn't take much to kill it. The same tactic over and over again can be used to win over bosses like Molgera. What makes it worse is, Molgera would be even easier if it weren't for those enemies crawling around. The whole battle I felt that I should've easily been able to lock-on to him, rather than the enemies, but for some reason I just kept getting the target on the enemies. There was just something about Wind Waker that made it feel very lackluster. The scarcity of content just kills the game. The road to the first three temples is very linear and short. After you come back from Hyrule Castle the first time, you're path to the final two temples is rather short, simple, and linear. After you beat them, it's pretty much just the triforce quest and then Ganon's castle. I'd have to blame the ocean. It spreads everything out so much that, while places may take longer to get to, the paths to get to them are overly-simplistic. This is one of those issues that even Nintendo admits to: the lack of oceanic obstacles. I love the Wind Waker. As a Zelda game it's excellent. It has beautiful art style, and just as good of a soundtrack. I'll admit, though, this game only met my expectations. It didn't go far to exceed anything of what I was expecting, if it didn't actually underwhelm me. The game is perfect for beginners taking on the Zelda series in 3D. The thing is, Zelda's being more-accessible to all players is the reason why the hardcore fans aren't being given exactly what they want. Nintendo, in order to please the real fans, are stepping away from Wind Waker, and giving us what we desire in Twilight Princess. WW is a good game, but it was more an experiment than anything else. It succeeded in style, but failed in other departments that the Zelda hardcore are very critical of.

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
Puppet Ganon snake, What the Heck!?!?! It was almost impossible to beat! I thought Ganondorf was easy, but the sidequests In the game were really fun for me, I wish they had a sidequest that made you go to different islands and stuff, Theres so many things you could do with an ocean that big! Too bad Nintendo didn't do to many of them....

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
The game certainly was a cake walk, but nintendo kept up with the interesting environments and themes so as not to bore the player. TWW was more of a great vacation, sans the triforce quest.
The bosses should have been harder though, not incredibly hard, but they needed to provide new players a challenge along with veteran players.

Re: Was The wind waker too easy?
I had to start over like 4 times cuz my memory card would keep eracing everthing. So then I stayed up all night and finished it all in that night.
