Thumbs down Bosses in TP- this is the end

I know it, this will be the end of Hyrule , if Link doesn' t work. I mean, have you seen the new trailer and the monsters?! It won' t be nice to defeat all of them.
But what do you think?

Haha! Have you seen the trailer for windwaker? So many monsters, but Link defeats them all. He will defeat them all in twilight princess, without any problems.(Depends on the player) But Of course he will kill em all

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

You have a lot of self-confidence. But I don' t want to know if Link can defeat them. I want to know how WE can defeat them.
For an example: What do you think what kind of weapon we have to use, if we want to defeat the monster in the water. (Do you know which one I mean?)

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

Twlight Princess is a good game. Even if we defeat every monster in site. But there will only be monster's back in their place.

For example: Go to the Forest temple. Enter a room and kill all the monsters. then exit. Then go back and they're all back.

Endless stream. So I have nothing to complain about no more monster or whatever

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

Nothing to be worried about. Have you ever played Shadow of the colossus? 16 giants and when you see them you think... damn, how the hell am I going to get this thing down? and eventually you bring it down.

Same with zelda, at first you'll be wondering how you'll ever get the thing, but finding his/her weak spot and learning his/her moves is half the fun =)

Besides, it feels a hell of a lot better than fighting a boss for 15 minutes and finaly and finaly find out how to get him and take him down, instead of seeing an obvious way of killing the boss and be done with it in 5min.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

I only talk about the Bosses in the dungeons and that is my problem. There are so many new one. A combination of iron boots and hook shot could be a way to defeat an underwater boss but isn' t that to easy? The combination with the storm boomerang and the bombs in the forest temple is much more creative. And I haven' t hear something about a hook shot in TP yet. And if you haven' t seen the new trailer: The boss looks like an eel with armes on his head. (it is also very, very BIG, and there is no bottom where you can wear the iron boots)

Haha! Yah, that is true. But please don' t think that I' m afraid. I also like it to kick their asses (if they have one) And that is the reason why I made this thread. I want to know more about your strategy.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

Hyrule already ends. Have you played WW?

I'm actually glad there are big huge monsters in this game (but none of them still compare to the monsters that are in WW; apparently bigger is better). What interests me the most is the complexity of how to defeat the bosses in TP (so far we've only seen three full boss fights. One of them not really being a boss fight; that one being horse battle). I'm hoping that most of the bosses in TP have the same complexity as the "Barlog" boss and the giant plant . . . thing. Having to use a different array of items and having to use the surroundings that are around you to aid you in battle.

Hopefully most boss battles will be similar to that (what can I say, I like complexity, and puzzling challenges in my Zelda games).

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

I like that way to Dark Link. Like solve puzzles while fighting a boss, like a puzzle must be solved for the boss to be killed etc etc.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

To solve puzzles during a fight is the biggest challange in the Zelda games. And it won't be exciting if there wouldn' t be any difficulty in the battels.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

Oh come on, so there are some big monsters in the game. Whats new? OoT had a bunch of big bosses and Link took care of them easily. in MM he faced off with some more giant bosses, and beat them. in tWW you took on a fire version of Gohma and then took on a huge plant monster and guess what, Link took care of them easily.

So i am thinking TP Link will crush these monsters save the princess and Hyrule.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

we've also seen a few seconds of other boss fights. on the new trailer it shows a fight against a giant half goron half machine frankenstein. it also shows the goron in a ball and link pick him up and throw him. we've also seen the gohma boss as well in the old trailer. each boss fight seems unique so far.

I've seen a trailer at E3 where Link is using the hookshot, so it's in there!

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

The game designers aren't stupid enough to create a plethora of bosses so incredibly hard that they are impossible to defeat. As long as you have a decent amount of hand-eye coordination and a somewhat logical mind, you'll beat the game.

Trust me.

Also, If the amount of projected bosses and dungeons reflect the game time, then I'm all for it! I want to get my money's worth. Besides, they've shown only about four or five bosses so far.

Also might want to make sure you have a red potion/fairy with you... they can work wonders.

Well actualy the end of Hyrule does not come until the end of tWW. Before tWW Hyrule was just frozen in time and was probably meant to be forever. Its not until you pull the Master Sword out does Hyrule unfreeze.(the once frozen enemies are now once again moving)

So the end of Hyrule? No, could this lead up to the distruction of Hyrule? yea.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

What I'm hoping for the bosses and just the game in general, that you will actually find all of your items often used. In previous games it has mostly been that you get an item in a dungeon, you use it for the most part in that dungeon, and it is the weapon that must be used against the boss.

What I would like to see is that items have a more common role. I think the "balrog" boss showed this well, as per tradition, you only get one item per dungeon, and two different items must be used.

All in all, I'm hoping that items aren't forgotten (as per the Gust Jar and Mole Mitts in Minish Cap, or the Grappling Hook in WW, or the Megaton Hammer in OOT... the list goes on and on).

Anyway, if you want to talk about large swarms of enemies, talk about Kingdom Hearts II. THAT'S a lot of baddies.

Re: Bosses in TP- this is the end

To use more items in game would be nice, of curse. And it' s good to know that we maybe find a lot of old items in TP like the lampshade or the hook shot. But I think that was sure because there are view more bosses than in other Zelda Games. So we need more items. But maybe there will be new ones too. What do you think, give me an example.
