Twilight Princess Video Source Thread (Updated!: 11/03/06)

Okay, I decided to make this thread so we can sift out all the videos that have been released from E3 and beyond. This will be a good source for people to come in and make sure they are fully up to date with all things Twilight Princess.

This is how it will work:

• I'll start off with a few direct links to TP videos I know about, obviously from E3 2006.
• The first post will be updated when new links to videos are found.
• You guys can also help out by posting links to new videos you find. If its worth posting, a mod will come and edit it into the first post.
• When posting a link, give a full desciption of the video, otherwise face the risk of your post being deleted without being looked at.
• Posting different mirrors or sources of the same video is permitted, although it has to be from a source that is reliable and won't run out of bandwidth incredibly quickly.
• No fan trailer posting for now... maybe later we'll add some awesome ones.
• YouTube and Google Video links are accepted, although not hosts like RapidShare and the like. Only one link from each are permitted, so try and get the most popular one.
• Please no videos from before E3 2006... I'm sure we've all seen those about infinity times.
• Links to Hi-Res versions of videos that don't need payed subscriptions to anything would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

NOTE: Most of these links are from IGN and GameSpot. With IGN, all you have to do is "Right-Click > Save As...". The GameSpot links direct you to the download page for that video.

Trailer - November 2nd 2006 Zelda Press Event - NEW!!!
The press just got their juicy mits on the final build of Twilight Princess. This does not mean, however, that we were left empty handed. We have a new gameplay montage trailer, with the backing music of the trailer used at E3 '05. Simply awesome, I won't ruin it for you, and a warning that there might be what could be considered SPOILERS to some. This coincides with the releases of the opening title screen for the game, and some small flash movies of the game, which can be found below in Gameplay Movies.

Trailer - September 14th 2006 Wii Press Event
Released at the same time when Nintendo had their huge worldwide press events to announce the Wii price and date essentially. Shows some neat wolf gameplay, as well as riding a bird-like creature. Well worth a watch.

E3 2006 Trailer
A small 50 second trailer released by the Nintendo press at E3 2006. Some interesting elements include the new Twilight Realm, small shot of a town, fishing, meeting Midna outside of the Twilight Realm and much more. Have a look.

GCCafe Gameplay Footage

Shows Link doing various puzzles and attacking heaps of enemies at once, but best of all is the full boss battle at the end. The sound is very good quality in comparison to other videos we've been getting.

I just wanna let you guys know. www.thehylia.com will have videos up tomorrow, including the fishing demo and the dungeon demo+boss. In case you didnt know, TSA, the owner of the site, is a Zelda speed runner. He has the world record in nearly every Zelda game out there. Well, he sped-run the demo, and is gonna post it tomorrow. Cant wait!

Wow, if i could have played a demo i would spend every minute i got to look around and fight some badguys while getting used to the controls and stuff...

Well i am glad a thread like this was started, i have a trouble keeping up with details, i usualy hear them from people around here so i question what i hear(no offence meant, just its nice to hear it from an inteview or from watching on a video) So hopefuly this thread keeps me to date

Yes, he did a speed run on the demo. He posted it over at Speed Demo Archive that we was going to do it. He also said that the NOA's were like WTF. So I don't know wtf he did to have them do that.

Erm... i didn't see this on the list but its a hi-res vid of the pre E3 conference and it's only the Zelda bit ^_^

I have finsihes watching the GCCafe vid, and it is the demo of goron mines. full thing.

Thanks guys, I've updated the first post with new info. The GCCafe vid is surprisingly the best quality gameplay movie I have seen so far. Very impressive.

Demo of the goron mines, you get a lot of good views on Midna and you get to hear how she sounds, if anyone is interested in that.

Thanks, forgetreality, I've updated the main page. I've also added the Fishing Demo from GCCafe... downloading now, hopefully its as good quality as their dungeon footage.

Apparently TSA has a LOT of exlusive footage and interviews or something, so keep your eye out.

Looking forward to the demo speedrun. TSA says that he finished it in 2min 50 sec flat. Nice work TSA.

Okay, I've justed added the new videos posted by the Hylia a couple of days ago. So if you guys haven't seen those, I suggest you do. The speedrun is quite impressive.

Also, just a note to say the GCCafe links are down for the time being, cause their bandwidth was being sucked up. Too bad if you haven't seen those yet cause they were really top quality. They should be up when the hype of E3 dies down a bit though. Oh, and Landofthelegend.net is gonna have some footage up tomorrow.

I have much higher quality videos, but my server can't handle the traffic. I may use a free file hosting service. I have DVD quality videos in widescreen...but they're GBs in size, and any compression really kills them. I may put them on Archive.org and link to them.

Please upload them to archive.org TSA. that would be REALLY nice(id finally have something to burn to a dvd).
