GrappleShot

In the new demo of Tp from e3 if you look carefully at the end of the "hookshot" you'll see that it looks like the the head of the grapple in TWW. It seems to me that they have combined the hookshot and the grapplinghook. I suppose it could be used to grab onto surfaces the hookshot couldn't such as metal railings.

The Hookshot wouldn't have (really) supported Link's weight with a single hook point. A grappling hook-like "hook" would better support the weight of dragging someone across a great distance through the air, would make more sense as far as clinging to enemies goes, and could latch on to more objects.

Even then, the grapple hook itself is really only an extentable claw hand, it's more of a grabber than anything else, but hell, here's hoping that the grapple hook will allow link to swing and shoot across far reaching areas.

I think it makes more sense, in this game, for the Grappling Hook to be an accessory to the Hookshot (the Hookshot being a sort of upgrade), so that you'd basically be adding range and some additional functions to the Grappling Hook, instead of having two different items.

I have a strong feeling we won't have to get two this game like before. Seriously that two shot thing was getting kinda old. Hoock and long shot. Grapling hoock and hoock shot. Just one with a fancy point is good enough. Maby it will have a feture too stop in mid reel in to swing.

I think it looks kinda like a crab claw, ya know. Once it hits something then it closes up and hang on, or it will have both pinchers stick into the thing you shoot and pull you up.

The Grappleshot looks sweet. It probably serve as two functions...seeing as how the Iron Boots both keep you firmly planted to the trerrain, as well as magnetize you to surfaces...If the Grappleshot follows suit, then it will most likely be able grab enemies, items, latch onto surfaces, climb edges of cliffs...etc. Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Kinda' looks like something out of a cheap sci-fi flick...

In any case, it seems like good ol' EA listened to the fans... and delivered.

It seems like that's a theme for the production of TP as a whole. This is the last in the series for the Cube, and the first for the Wii, so they wanted to please the fans, instead of go ahead with what they wanted, as was the case with TWW.

Looks awsome, i saw a video where a guy was using like a hookshot. So i am thinking it will basicly be the hookshot and possibly the grapple hook.

So, does this mean we will be able to use it like a normal hookshot as well as grab onto poles/branches/whateve and swing just the the grapple as well?
