Twilight Realm = Dark World?

I hope this hasnt been poste before!

Well, I believe that there is a good chance that the Twilight Realm is the
Dark World from ALttP. They are both VERY similar...when you go, your
transformed into an animal, just like the Dark World. and, Im not exactly
sure where I heard this, but I heard that link later finds a way too go to
the Twilight Realm in his Normal state, that might mean he gets the
"Moon Pearl". If it is the Dark World, then that might mean the
return of Dark Link!

I thought it had been stated that Link is the only one who transforms into a animal. So that would mean it wouldnt be the Dark World because everyone who enters it would turn to an animal, or well creature.

the dark world is an alternate universe type thing. its a copy of Hyrule, but dark...
the twilight realm is said to be a "plague" that grows and devours the land.

The Twilight Realm probably is the Dark World in a sence but with different properties it had when it was fuly corupted as it was portrayed in ALttP. The Twilight Realm is a disease spreading across the land and ingulfing areas at times, possibly drawing in innocent travelers that waunder into these invisible portals. This very idea is not too far fetched really. In ALttP and FSA, the game depicts and tells of innocent travelers getting lost into these voids and not returning. In the Village of the Blue Maiden in FSA, the elders talk of how the Dark World was drawing in kids around the town. The very dame scenario is happening in TP too.

But then again, just because these similiar scenarios occur in other LoZ's does not mean it is the Dark World all in the same, but it mostly seems that way. I can't see the Twilight Realm not being the Sacred Realm poisened, since we are dealing with Ganondorf in this game that takes place after OoT, when he is now cuurently in the Evil Realm. Possiby it is Ganondorf's unwiling fault that the Evil Realm is merging into Hyrule. Who knows. Maybe that is why he is not the main villian, and the "poisen is something much more than what Ganondorf is behind.
