little thing

I was looking at my WW instruction booklet (as you do) and i realised that the picture of link on the front is not actually holding the wind waker, it looks like it was just a picture of link with his arm out and later on they added the wind waker infront of it.
Don't understand? go check.

Re: little thing

I know which picture you're talking about...

But the Wind Waker doesn't look like it was a latter addition... looks pretty natural to me. Maybe I'm missing something?

Re: little thing

I think it seems more or less like it was hard for them to draw his figures grabbing the Wind Waker. I doubt it was added on later though.

Re: little thing

Why would they draw Link in that pose without the thought of putting the Wind Waker in his hand, it wasn't added in.

Re: little thing

Nah, it's just badly drawn. I saw that pic way back when (in the japanese ads before it came out in japan) and he has always held the Waker.

Re: little thing

It sorta does look like its sticking out of his thumb, but i think they just did a not too good job drawing Link holding the WW, although they drew Arryl holding the telscope just fine. Then again, she's facing to the right...

It looks all right to me.
If you look at Link's forefinger, it looks like it's either really short or the upper part of the finger is behind the Wind Waker.

Re: little thing

Thats a nice discovery. But it probably was hard to draw it. Or maybe Myamoto dileberately asked them to put it like this. Who knows???
