Majoras Mask: Liked it or Not?

Yes after finally finishing OoT for the first time you turn of you N64 and say. Damn, that was great. At the time N64 probly had some of the best graphics and best game play. A year (or two I can't remeber) later Nintendo released Majoras Mask along with the graphic enhancer you needed to play the game.

I got my copy of MM at christmas and could not wait to play it. When I finaly started I was let down. Yes the graphics where nice, the masks were interesting, the mini games were great, but when it came down to the actually campaign of the game, it was rather disappointing.

You got three days. After three days you either died and lost alot of progress of you went back in time and still well...lost alot of progress. The temples were not complicated but confusing sometimes. Over all the game was ok but it could have been better.

Any thoughts?

Naw! Majora's mask was great. (but still not as good as OOT ;D)
It was a lot darker, a lot scarier. The Ikana graveyard and canyon still unnerve me when I go there. Also the story was a lot more diverse, and the characters actually had lives that progressed through the three days.

Yes, but your not understanding what I'm trying to say. The little things where great but when it game down to the structure of the progression of the game, it sucked.

I loved that game. I liked the story to OOT but MM was much more interesting and well evil.

I really liked Majora's Mask...

It was way more interactive and touching then OoT, character-wise. I felt way more in character as Link. I liked the 3-day thing, plus you can play the Song of Time backwards to slow the flow of time, making the 3-day deadline almost unnessesary. It was a change in Zelda that I think was nessesary.

Adding on to what Shaitan said, unline in OoT, you actually got to see the villan do evil things and were introduced more into that storyline. In OoT, you got to see Ganondorf once when you're a child.

Majora's Mask was a good game, I don't see what there is to complain about.

I luuuuuurrrrrved it. OoT got me exited so when this one came out it was great.

Good question. What is Majors Mask?

I liked Majoras Mask, but I only beat it once, and that was enough for me to be satisfied. I will never go through that frustration again!
