I think theres a topic about this already but what about the fishing pole?

Last I heard, "confirmed" meant what Nintendo has said/shown. And, as far as I know, they have never confirmed some of those items (or that Midna is the Master Sword).

Matter of fact, I think that the trailers/in-game videos of Zelda are the only things "confirming" anything. And the videos are quite easy to find online.

I guess I just don't see the point (or accuracy) of this topic.

Canoe- Seen in pics ( although it has not been confirmed if is an item that you can have at any time)

First, If you watch the trailers (go to the TP hype thread to watch them) you see alot; including bomb arrows. Second, has there ever been a 3D zelda game without light arrows that includes gannon? Third, when IGN or some other gaming source asked, "Will Midna exist outside the twilight?" Eji said, "Yes, if you go with the strictest definition of exist then yes, she can exist in normal Hyrule. But there is a certain kind of subtlety to that which I can't reveal at this point in time." This pretty much convinces me that the master sword is in the game. And I've seen an official, scanned screenshot of the mastersword sheath on link's back, and a purple hilt in his hand. And Finaly, in an egm magazine, Eji said there will be a day/night system, and he said, "...we don't want to have a system where the player can't do anything until a particular time of day arrives and the player has to wait around--that's not good game design. So in that sense, you have some mechanism for control. And we have been looking at different ways to do that, and we have a plan for how we're going to do that in the game."

Sorry about the double post but I only mentioned the most general combat items, I'm no including side items. things like the megaton hammer and bottles and picto boxes and masks I left out because they might be required only for heart containers, not neccesarily to win the game.

Comfirmed? All you did was watch a few trailers. Which we have all done.

If We've all seen it, then I am stating the obvious. And if you want to, you can exclude some of what I say. But the truth is the truth and Nintendo might not say word for word that 'midna is the master sword,' but going by what he said, midna will become an item when she comes out of the twilight; I just think its the master sword.

Right, but Ganondorf might not even play a big part, but that's not the point, it's not seen yet, therefore not confirmed.

She can pretty much turn into anything, there's no high possiblity, it's just as possible as Midna turning into an instrument, a fairy, or an Irish leprechaun

And this has been confirmed where? Don't mention this if you don't have a source which I doubt you have.

you forgot the bombbugs and well, the light arrows aren't needed for Ganondorf at all, the silver arrows are a necesity though, that is, if you plan on actually killing ganondorf, light arrows are only used for stunning ganondorf.

I said that I only wanted to mention The core COMBAT items as well as a very important non-combat item such as a invaluable instrument.

And finaly, other than one game I can think of that gannon has been in, he has always been the main villian, and will probably be the main one in this game.

You should of suggusted this "idea" to Shiek 84. To be put in his TP hype thread. That way it would be more "offical".

lol was Ganon in The Minish Cap? FSA? No...Ganon will be in the game. But it depends IF he is the main bad guy.

Mabye I should have put it in the hype thread but I was aiming for this to be exclusively for weapons and special items. You're aloud to put opinions along with you facts, as long as they are separated, as I did. I knew sooner or later some one would 100% confirm Midna's transformation and the appearance of other items but until then I wanted it to stir in the brains of those who didn't already know about that "rumor." I am sorry for confusing eveyone by mixing the obvious and confirmed with my opinions. The title might be a little misleading. But I'm new and have already made two mistakes.

P.S. If you want to mention other items such as fishing rod, lanter, etc., start a post specificly for those kind of items.

I... really don't think Midna can be the Master Sword. she might be. she might not be. but i don't think it's very likely that she's the master sword.

Midna, from everything i've read in interviews and general information on the game, is apparently a denizen of the Twilight, and apparently has her own evil/semi-evil agenda but teams up with Link, for her own gain.

so how can an evil/semi evil being of the twilight be such a holy relic as the Master Sword? the Master Sword was forged to destroy evil, not become it. this isn't SoulCalibur, people. Link was IN SCII, but only out of a special cameo thing. his presence in SC doesn't do anything to the Zelda storyline.

but other than that, i think Hookshot, even though not confirmed, is still going to be in the game. i'd especially like to see the Hookshot gain the grappling hook's abilities, where you can lock the chain in place to swing across longer gaps.
and Bombs. you gotta have bombs. can't have Zelda without bombs. unless you're playing Zelda 2, but that's beside the point.

Link also uses different plants for calling animals... Also I think I've seen the lamp before. You can also use a stick that a kid gives you in the first part of the demo.

Midnas not the master sword, She's the hawk... Thats just my guess anyway.
