in case you have'nt been to IGN lately, it says in the box with the cover art: release date april 15 2006.

Could you provide a link?

even if you have a link, it's likely just a temporary guess
if the official final date had been announced publicly, we'd already know and be pissed that it was in 2008.

Anyway, on subject. I feel that a release either just before E3 or a long time after is the best guess because otherwise Zelda is going to be shadowed by the Rev.

Miyamoto better not delay TP again for a fourth time or we'll ALL be pissed at Nintendo! He's had about three years in developing this game and I think thats by all means enough time to make the perfect Zelda game yet! Puh... this all reminds me of the time we all pushed Nintendo to release OoT early and look what happen! The game had so many glitches, which some were fun to find, but in reality intendo left over some unfineshed technical areas in OoT. Some of you may know what I'm refering too if you are a game hacker. OoT probably has the most secrets, tricks, and glitches in it than any other LoZ I know of besides MM. So really we should be glad that Miyamoto is taking precious time on this upcoming Zelda game. I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid and delay it any further where it will end up on the next Nintendo system.

If it weren't for that post, I wouldn't have commented in this thread at all. TP was delayed once! That's all. Just once. A release date was never established; hints were dropped on a November '05 release many times, and everyone was anticipating the holiday season for that very reason. What makes you say TP was delayed four times? It was even announced until the end of '04!

And another thing, odds are that TP will be released in either April or May. I'm betting on late April or early May, myself. The 15th doesn't sound too radical, but I can't remember the last time the Big N was on time. I really think they should overshoot with release dates--that way, the actual release will be closer to the announced date.

Sorry. I was being sarcastic! What I meant was what you said about it being anticipated on the release date so many times it felt like it was being delayed. To many stupid rumors just like this thread. I'm not even going to post anymore in this stupid threaf because it all nothing but another rumor date. I agree. I'm just being facious. Why does it always seem that Nintendo releases there Zelda games around April or May? Is it a coincidents or what?! Seems ironic how there are always speculations on when LoZ games are released and then they end up being release around this same time were thinking it comes out.

since they delayed it ONCE for a long time, the game will be worth it, it probably will be best game of all time for all we know, and didnt OoT get delayed as well?
