who is Zelda or Midna in TP?

i think that Illia could be Zelda and that Midna is the King of Hyrule. Early in the game you rescue Colin, but you do not rescue Illia. As usual the idea of the game is to save Zelda, but you also have to save Illia. The girl in the e-3 2005 trailer in the tower with the dark cloak is Zelda, the part of the face that you can see looks like Illia except for the thing on her forehead. Illia might have been transformed into Zelda like Tetra in WW, by the King. That means that she must have been transformed in the castle, but by who? Ganon probably wouldn't do that, so it probably was the King.
What is Midna doing in the Castle? There are two possible things that why she is there. 1: she is the king. 2: she is Ganon.
p.s. twilight princess comes out april 15 2006, and i really don't beleive all that much in what my name says.

That theory is taking a good chunk of TWW and sticking it in TP. If they did that I'd be very dissapointed.

Midna cannot be a King... Midna is a girl! Plus, I do not want this game to rip off TWW's story.

I have always thought that Illia is Midna.

is the King of Hyrule really a boat? NO! he transformed to help link. all i am saying is that it is a possibility, although i really dont think that it is likely.

She was brought to the same castle as link, where they meet.

in the 2005 trailer, that girl is zelda that is in the black cloak, and what is she lookin at? maybe link

Thats just a trailer. It was made to look exciting. That part maybe isnt even in the game....

Illia has normail ears, Zelda has pointy elf-like ears. And didn't the Moblins just leave her in the water and take Colin?

No becuse when Link wakes up, she is gone.

Again, trailers/demos aren't meant to show any chronology. They're just to get hype up.

As Kadin said, Illia cannot be Zelda, because Zelda must (well, in every game she did) have pointy ears. And also like in TWW, Ganon was looking for girls with blonde hair and pointy ears. So yeah.

So I think what your saying is that the king and zelda transform in the twilight. There is a few things wrong with.
1.For zelda to transform in the twilight she must welll she has to transform you see because you meet Illia outside the twilight relm and supposing that zelda is the true form it would have to be the other way because we did se zelda in the twilight relm.

2.There can be more then one castle through out the game so she is not the king thats just stupid and ripping of TWW

His theory has nothing to do with the twilight! He never said Ilia was Midna, he never said Zelda is Link!

Zelda is the Twilight Princess.
Midna is the Master Sword, or another item. Here:

That sound to me like she's an item. GHGUGHGUGHUUGHMASTERSWORDHGUHHGUHHGUUHGG!!!!!!

Anouma said that Midna can live outside the Twilight in the "strictest sense," so that leads me to believe she will become an item, some even say she is the spirit of the master sword, but I'd be more inclined to beleive this if she shared the master sword's colour scheme. (Midna is green, black and silver, while the master sword is blue and silver with a yellow gem in the hilt.)

^but the master sword off of ALttP is only grey with the yellow gem in the middle, so maybe this is also a transformation of the sword as well?
