in link to the past Link manages to get a mirror that allows him to enter the sacred realm,but ganon is sealed in there so its the the dark realm. when he enters he goes thourgh some pain and turns into a rabit which is what he resembles most incecent and kind.so he get a man to give him something to stay human an goes back.well in twilight princess when link goes thourgh the twilight zone he goes thourgh some pain and turns into a wolf.weird.but im not sure it makes enough sense.
