ok, i haven't play WW in a few years, but i was just thinking about the game a few minutes ago and i remembered this question i had that was never answered. From what i can recollect, i believe when you left some bait for the fish at Windfall island, the fish would say something like he used to "sit" with the bartender from the windfall coffee house(or was it a bar?) and they would watch the lighthouse or something. Any1 else experience something like that or am i just crazy? Like i said, i haven't played it in a while and i dont remember every detail so well... but, if i'm not crazy wasn't the fish in love with her or something? Any info will help. Thanks!

Maybe your just imagining things.I don't now what made you think that but how can a fish sit in a bar.If you ever see a fish in a bar then please tell me because I would like to see it.Oh and by the way I don't think he says that.

I was wondering how a fish could sit in a bar too. Unless he was a person in a past life. Maybe he's a shape-shifter or something. I'm thinking Mr. Myamoto wouldn't mention a bar, or a bartender, in a game that's rated "E".

Well I doubt he said that to be honest but if you want to check it out then click here . That is all the 49 things that the fish says in WW courtesy of Max Gamer at Gamefaqs.com
And WW came out in 2003 (2002 in Japan/US?) so I doubt it was a few years ago when you played through.

I know what your talking about but I believe he said something that keyed into the "women" being another fish. I think he says it on Rock Spire Isle or the Island with the Wind Temple.

I also reckon that he was a person in his past life cause didn't he know the King of Red lions (aka the boat). So he might of been a person.

I think they just put that in the game for a little humor and to focus your attention on the lighthouse that you're supposed to light. About the fish sitting in a bar and a past life and what not, feel free to look at what I posted in the two Wind Waker questions (it's either in this forum or general Zelda, I don't remember...)
