Four Sword Adventures

This Game is cool theonnectivity with the GBA is great
but what i did not like was that the game
was divided by stages and that everyone had to be in a corner so you could move out of the area
did you like the new format?
or do you think it should have been more like the FS in the gba?
or that the game should have suck to the series original adventure mode?

Re: Four Sword Adventures

Well, I hated that game, it was way to short, did not have the great music you come to expect from a Zelda game and I hated the look. I know you can play with all your friends...only if you have four people (or less) with there GBA's and that is kind of rediculus. Also I think the price was WAY too much for that game./

Re: Four Sword Adventures

Well i thought it was fun, i didn't like the levels but, its not a single player adventure so i can't complain, wait... it is... and isn't...woah... Anyway it was still fun and some puzzles were kinda hard. It wasn't bad

Re: Four Sword Adventures

I loved this game. It was fun to control all four links, without being with another person at your side to kill you. I lost more friends that way...

Re: Four Sword Adventures

Bad music? That game had some of the best Zelda music ever! The game was also too long, in my opinion. Each level takes about half an hour if you're going for every last treasure, and there's a total of twenty-eight of them! It did have some good game mechanics to it, but the formations in single player were a bit glitchy. I've found numeral glitches that are caused by the formations. Maybe I should work on the debug team at Nintendo.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

Was the game too short? Yes. Now, granted, I didn't uncover every single secret, but Oracle of Seasons took me twenty-seven hours, and FSA took twelve hours (which is how long it took me to get through Sonic Adventure). Heck, Crash Bandicoot took me fifteen hours!

Personally, I didn't like the "level" format at all. I mean, it is fun to be able to go back and replay everything (which is very rare for a Zelda game), but it just seemed too much like Mario to me, which the levels. I would have really preferred the standard overworld map the 2D Zeldas have- to me, it would have felt more like Zelda.

Don't get me wrong, I like the game, and I enjoyed it. But it was too short, and resembled a platform game more than an adventure game. And I never did multiplayer... didn't have the extra GBAs and cords... >_>

Re: Four Sword Adventures

I have Four Swords adventure for the Gamecube (GC), and I have not beat it but I think there is nothing wrong with it ecept the grafics. They could of been like the Wink Waker. Its not the gameboy advance its the gamecube. Thats what I dont get. Its really weard. But for the most part, the story line is good, its got cool enimys and stuff like that ect., but the graficks really stink bad. Thats the only thing I don't like about the Four swords adventure.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

I loved it. The only weak point I think was that everyone had to look at the same screen and you couldn't go to different areas without each other. If they make a Four Swords game for the DS, I expect it to be pretty good. You'd be able to play with people across the world, and you'd each have your own screen....s.

Anyway. I've only been able to play 3 player so far, so I was wondering if the DS is compatible with FSA? Like, can you connect it to the GC and use it? Because that would be pretty helpful.

Then you're missing out on the whole point of the game. It's really fun with multiplayer, and the more people you can get the better. Shadow Battle is a fun little minigame a lot of people seem to like.

You did not just do that. You did not just insult ALttP's graphics, did you? If you wanted the game to be in 3D, then I'll just let you know that it's not possible to do Four Swords in 3D on the GameCube. Why? Well, quite simply, you wouldn't be able to see each other. Each person would need a seperate screen, or else it wouldn't work. Now, it would be possible on the DS or the Revolution, but it just wouldn't have the classic Zelda feeling. Four Swords isn't about the graphics, it's about the gameplay. You just don't get the same sense of exploring from a 3D Zelda that you get from a 2D one.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

was the easiest zelda game yet. No challenge what so ever and the fact that you are on a continous adventure without being able to explore did not thrill me.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

I woulda liked it more if it was like ALTTP, an actual Zelda game I should say.

But regardless, I had a blast with FSA, and loved the visuals.

Good game, short though, probably not worth the price tag.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

There were a couple of things that I hated. For example, the absence of Rupees, and their replacement, Force Gems . Also, the level idea. That is not Zelda.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

i lent my four swords game to my cousins as soon as i got it, i didnt play it at the time as i didnt have a memory card. i did get up to the blue maiden though. The use of the gba was ingenious, i didnt particularly like the levels.... most fun i had was using seperate links, as vio is my favourite character and using him as a seperate hero was cool...

Re: Four Sword Adventures

That game was wayyyy toooooo short. I bought it and finished it the same day :S. And it suckt that you can only play the special features (battle mode) when at least 2 players are connected. I think that if they made this game like they would do at first (the a link to the past like) it could have been much much much better

Re: Four Sword Adventures

Did you ever see the early screenshots? They looked like utter crapness.

I thought the graphics were excellent; a combination of TWW and ALttP. And like I said earlier...you can't really fully appreciate this game if you're just playing single player all the time. I'm sorry if you don't live near any Zelda fans. That's why I hope the next Zelda game for the DS will be a Four Swords game.

Re: Four Sword Adventures

I liked the game. But it was too short en simple. You couldn't move through the whole map, you had levels al the time. That's what I hated. But with the DS, it should be made perfect, and that's a multiplay zelda I could appreciate
