Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

I got MM the other day and saving the game confuses me. Could someone please explain it? I thought that once you activated the bird statue you carry on playing and when you played the song of time it saves your game and takes you back to the last statue you activated. Because I've activated 3 statues in total and it always takes me back to Clock Town and I have to go to Woodfall from there!

Aye, activate the statue with your sword. To save the game, "Speak" to it using the action button (A).

Saving this way is a save and quit though, not a save and continue.

And when I start the game again, I'll be at the statue I saved at?

The boss key for the boss room? That's usually obtained nearer the end of the temple. If you're at the end of the Temple, then let me know.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Well, in the room where Darunia enters the boss lair, I believe (this is from memory) that you have to light the torches in order to uncage the Goron and retrieve the key. I hope that makes sense, I'm a bit hazy.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

Sounds like the Ocarina of Time battle.

My advice fighting Ganondorf is to immediately move to a corner of the room when the battle commences. The corner platforms and the central column are the only safe islands from his ground pound attack.

From the corner, you can now bat back his magic attacks with your sword, and when one strikes, hit him with a light arrow, then either leap across to him, or Longshot onto his body and get stuck in about him.

If he performs an attack in which he charges ebergy above his head, he is then vulnerable to light arrows at this point too.

Steer clear of the central column and you should do fine.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

put the fruit thing on your head, the seagull comes and takes it...then you control it. You have to buy the fruit from one of those sea store boats...

Is ther by any chance a Joy Pendent on the Ghost ship? that's where I'm going next and I'm still one short of what I need to get the Cabana deed from the school teacher.

Re: Official Gamecube/Wii Zelda Help Thread

To get extra Joy Pendants, I usually go to Dragon Roost Island and in the dungeon there, I just kill off some Bokoblins or I would go to those lookouts on the sea and kill the Bokoblins there. I'd say those are the best places to find Joy Pendants. My advice to you is to go to one of those two places instead of the Ghost Ship.

Oh and about that money problem, I just go treasure hunting for that or I might just slice up some bushes, but if I were you, I'd go with the treasure hunting.
