Shadow Link

does anybody know an easier way of beating Shadow Link
because i will use din's fire, the hammer, and bombs but it isn't effective
I've beaten him this way before but it just takes forever

Have you got the Biggoron Sword? That works quite well. Or the normal Master Sword if you're not using L-targetting.

You think less then 5 minutes is forever?
Anyway he isn't that hard...anyway thats the only way to defeat him I use the master sword most of the time but Dins fire is probably the fastest.

I'm guessing that this is in the Gamecube section because you're playing Master Quest, am I correct on that?

Anyways, Dark Link will have a hard time copying you if you don't lock on to him. That's my hint.

I just use the Biggoron's Sword. It becomes accessable after the Fire Temple. You can even do most of the trading game before the Fire Temple. All you need is Epona for most of them.

Not true. I've done it straight away after becoming an adult. The only major flaw is the Blue Fire for thawing out King Zora, but I think you can get that in Kakariko.

I don't understand why Din's Fire and the Megaton Hammer hasn't worked for you, though using the hammer does get harder as the battle progresses, just make sure you have the doubled magic meter if you want to carry on using Din's Fire. Or take other people's advice and just use the Biggoron's Sword from the trading quest...I might try that when I get to the Water Temple, never used it really before, only when I can't be bothered to go onto the Fire Temple .

Oh yeah, I hope you're referring to Master Quest, because Admin won't be happy if you aren't.

i used Din's fire till i ran out of magic
then i used the biggoron sword
man that thing rocks its long enough that shadow link won''t step on it and he cant get near me
i beat him last night

Seriously, I have bought a biggoron sword from goron city and then I broke it and I used it to defeat shadow link... and, well, its still pretty useful against him (or it) cuz it seems it goes through his defense

you mean the Giant's knife right? the Biggoron's Sword doesn't break.
