Order of events in ZTP
Which comes first, Link turning into a wolf or Link fighting the guys on horseback and rescuing the little kid? Anyone know for sure?

How would we know... I'd guess Link rescuing the kid in his normal form.

Link turning into the wolf, because when he turned into the wolf he didnt yet have his sword or sheild, but when he fought the guys on horseback he did. So obviously it goes something like this: Link herds cattle/explores tauru, Link leaves to attend summit, Link returns and somehow stumbles upon dark forrest, Link turns in to wolf, Link meets midna, They go conquer some temple to figure out whats up with the twilight realm, Twilight realm is subdued for small period of time, Link returns as human to Tauru, Colin or w/e is kidnapped, Horseback fightscene occurs, Twilight realm returns, plot complicates, i cry trying to finish the game with my limited video game skills, Game ends, I cry some more. so there ya have it! i probably messed up. oh and somewhere along the lines link gets the master sword.

As has been said, I don't think that we know enough about the story in general for this to matter. I'm pretty sure I remember hearing Aonuma saying that the scene with the Chief Bokoblin took place later in the game, and I'm just going to assume that the Link's transformation into a wolf will take place right after the events in Toaru Village (which isn't even a final name).
So now that we've established this, why does it matter?
