Taveling the Great Sea

Have you noticed that it takes you ages on ww to travel around but for people like the dude on the boat racing course it only takes a short while?

Things like that are scale inconsistancies and hardly merit mention.

It doesn't take that long to go around on the great sea, in fact. If you've got the wind blowing in the right direction, you can cross a sector of map in less than a minute (I timed it)! It only takes 10 minutes at most to travel from one edge of the map to the opposite edge - probably less.

I enjoy sailing in Wind Waker. It's a cool feature, so I don't mind how long it takes.

yeah, but sailing is fun as long as your in the MOOD. i usually am, though, and like to screw around and wreak havoc on the islands and stuff

Another thing is how come you never see people sailing about apart from those tresure hunters and beadles ship shop?

Sailing is such a pain! Im glad there's the warp song you can play though. But sometimes when I use it I forget that the top left hand warp makes you end up inside a tree! :mad:

I don't really remember, but I probably did, and I thought it looked like a tree!!

didn't you read what it was called on the map? how can a island be a tree? (execpt the one near the deku tree)

I don't know! It's dark inside and I got a tree-y feel from it!

another tip was from one of the merfish where he talks about an island SURROUNDED BY HIGH ROCK CLIFFS where a great fairy lives

yeah but that coulda been any of the islands!

where is he by, do you know? coz if he's anywhere near those huuuge flying fish im not going to see him because im scared of them

I hav a guide which tells me what each merfish says and where to find it. but im loaning it to a mate. as soon as i get it back i will tell you.
