How did ganondorf?

I have played tWW many times trying to figure this out but...How did he escape from the Sacred Realm? I couldn't find any other thread like this but if there is then please lock it.

It is actually not known precisely how, its mere speculation. I can only assume the seal that kept Ganondorf within the Sacred Realm failed to trap him forever. It may have some relevance to the fact that Ganondorf still had the Triforce of Power after he was sent to the Sacred Realm. Apart from that its clearly unknown, so we can only speculate.

Okey, WW is after TP, and TP is after OoT, I think. Since Ganondorf has the triforce of power, he could have broke the seal with it's power. And I don't think you could figure this problem out by playing WW over and over. I hoped I helped.

I just remembered, in aLttP, ganon broke through the seal. There's another question to be answered.

they always seem to have that happen, like something really strong occurs (like ganon being locked away) and then some how he always gets out, but its never really explained. there are alot of theroys, and i personally dont think about it, cuz its just something the gamer isnt really supossed to worry about, but it is kind off a silly little thing....... also i think hylian kid is rgiht, because well find out how he got out, but ganon wont be the same main villian that he used to be (this could bring lots of questyions and ideas) but im sure when we find out we'll all be suprised or think its cool, or something like that!

And I'm pretty sure he had the triforce and that would explain why the sages failed to trap him inside the sacred realm forever, since I doubt that even the 6 sages can seal away the power of Gods forever and we all know that triforce is the power of the Gods even if you have only one part!

Well, my theory is that Ganondorf's realease has something to do with the

In the WW into, it speaks of a darkness, which was followed by Ganon.
I beleive that the darkness may just be a metaphor for the ________ _____ (see spoiler)

I tend to believe after the conclusion of OoT, Ganondorf started to build power for his escape. When he finally gathered enough strength, he broke through to Hyrule.

Maybe the barrier of the sacred realm was eliminated or washed away when Hyrule was flooded or something. Maybe when the gods threw down all the water, the seal washed away.

I just remembered, in aLttP, ganon broke through the seal. There's another question to be answered.

In LttP, Agahnim broke the Seal of the Seven Sages by using the blood of their descendants, the Maidens.

Agahnim's exact nature is... not agreed upon. He's either an alternate form of Ganon, an avatar for Ganon, a minion that's been possessed, or a minion that's helping him willingly. Regardless, Agahnim had some contact with Ganon prior to releasing the seal, which means that the seal was already weakened or compromised in some way.

Of course, that could just mean that Agahnim used one of the natural portals to the Sacred Realm/Dark World, like the ones you use before you gain the Master Sword.

I'm certain someone killed the sages praying at the wind and earth temples. Once dead, the master sword weakened (The master sword is the seal keeping ganon in the sacred realm) enabling Ganondorf to escape. His full power didn't return since the master sword was still in its pedestal

For evidence of this read the conversation that occurs when you return to the forbidden fortress. Ganondorf mentions that the master sword kept his power locked away when it was in the pedestal. He also mentions that because the sages praying in the two temples were eliminated, the master sword has lost much of its power to vanquish evil.

Fado specifically says that Ganon killed him, so that can't be the case. But it's a great idea otherwise.

darned technicality! I had a feeling fado said that but I didn't mention it because that would be a counter-point and only insane people argue with themselves.

Well it has to be a new final boss in every game... I don't think Nintendo cared if he was trapped or not, they just wanna make money on a cool boss...
