Woah, maybe Tetra could be. . .

One day, I was on a car trip and a sudden thought came to me: What if Tetra is the last remaining Gerudo? Think about it: What if Zelda had a boy and that boy met a Gerudo and they had Tetra? Tetra's skin color could come from her Gerudo side, and her hair could come from her royal family's side. I also highly doubt Tetra's desendant's could keep having a girl over and over again. This is just an idea. Please discuss ideas and theorys here.

I think Tetra is a full Hylian. Her tan skin color may just come from being a pirate of The Great Sea. Also if you took the time to explore Tetra's room on her boat, there is a picture of her mother. She dosen't really look like a Gerudo descent in my opinion.

Zelda being part Gerudo? That would be weird... But Tetra IS a pirate, Like the gerudo . But I still don't think so.

That is an interesting idea...anything is possible. The argument that Tetra's darker skin is that way because she tanned(since she's alway outside, because she is a pirate) can prove she's not part Gerudo. If she were part Gerudo wouldn't (I don't remember if they do or not ) some of the crew look Gerudo as well? Some how theives and royalty making a child doesn't fit with me. Plus, we don't know what happened to the Gerudo after OoT.

Well, as Linkprry said previously, Tetra is a "captainess" who sails all day in the blazing sunlight in an age that doesn't have sun block. She's going to get a very pronounced tan.

I meant the rest of the female society. I mean we don't really see them at all.

Please type in MS word. (I almost had to tranaslate that.)

TWW never said anything about the Gerudo, except at the very end of the game, which would suggest that they all died.

Is that the sort of explanation of why we don't see any Gerudo in the other games (if you follow one of the timeline theories)? From my recolection they are not included in any of the other games besides OoT or MM.

Maybe we will find out in TP?
I don't think Tetra can be Gerudo but why doesn't link have the same kind of tan? Surely he would get out more if he lived in a house as small as his...

Re: Woah, maybe Tetra could be. . .

It's a good idea, especially with the skin tone, but I don't think it's true. Partly because Tetra had a picture of her mother on the wall of her bedroom, and she didn't look like a Gerudo, and the only way she would be a Gerudo is if she was the daughter of a male Gerudo, who's only born once every 100 years which I also doubt. And hasn't anybody thought that if Tetra is a Gerudo descendant, she maybe in some way related to Ganondorf...

I seriously doubt that Tetra is part Gerudo.

You're basing your whole theory on the fact that Tetra has a tan.

She's not a Gerudo. If you take a look in Hyrule Castle, you see her, with her crew, in a portrait of the ROYAL FAMILY. Now, I don't wana soud racist, but why would the proud Royal Family have children with the Thieves, the tramps? They've probably got an arch-enemy like feeling toward each other. The End.

Her skin goes pale once she becomes Zelda. Or am I seeing things..? I dont know but in her cabin there is a picture of her mother, shes not Gerudo. I think they all died in the flood.

Re: Woah, maybe Tetra could be. . .

Heh heh, our sweet little Miss Tetra is not a Gerudo.

First of all, she’s outside all day, commanding and many other things. It’s outside, and the sun is outside. She’s a full Hylian, getting a lovely and natural tan outside.

Here’s one more reason why I’m quite sure she’s not a Gerudo:
Spoiler (Highlight to read):

In Hyrule Castle, when the pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom are put back together, Miss Tetra transforms in Princess Zelda. Note that her skin is a pale color. That’s proof that’s she 100% Hylian.

Yeah, I think you understand.

Re: Woah, maybe Tetra could be. . .

Who knows? I myself don't like WW's storyline very much. How could Lake Hylia overflow, let alone how could people build on the top of the islands? Unless the islands in the game are the tops of mountains? Maybe Dragon Roost Island is really the top of Death Mountain? Though I have to admit Shigeru Miyamoto took a giant risk in making WW. It's very different compared to our other great Zelda classics. But I think he knew that there were so many Zelda fans, that there was no way he could go wrong.
