I'm surprised to see that there are very few threads about one of the greatest multiplayers on the gamecube. This game, due to its graphic style, I feel was very underreceived. None-the-less, I feel it at least deserves this discussion. I have a odd question I've been wondering about for a while. It involves the placement in the timeline for FSA.
First off, Alttp graphics are used along with Wind Waker sprites. Hyrule Castle resembles very much the castle of Alttp, and also there are places such as the eastern temple and death mountain. But then, Nintendo screwed it up. Kaepora Gaebora (that stupid owl from OoT) made an appearance as a tutorial, and knowing that Owls can't live hundreds of years (which we assume Alttp is after WW), I'm stuck saying.....where the heck does this game go in the timeline?!? Any theories on this matter?

Re: Four Swords Adventures Thread
Kaepora Gaebora is not really an owl as such. He's a spiritual entity that takes the form of a wise owl in order to guide Link where-ever he may appear. The proof of this is the fact that toward the end of OoT, Kaepora starts talking about Link's ability to defy the flow of time. If he was merely just an owl, there is no way he could possibly know this.
Also note that Kaepora also shows up in Termina. The game doesn't really have a slot in the timeline. Since it's based on capcom's four sword game, FSA will most likely take place in the 'capcom zeldas' timeline (ie. MC, FS, FSA, OoA + OoS). The only problem with that theory is that Ganondorf is mentioned in FSA and Twinrova and the master sword appear in OoA + OoS |
