Question He he the Wind....

We hear Ganondorf say this in the the end on WW.

Hehe, the wind, it's blowing....

I was wondering, Have it anything to do with Vaati..

Isn't Vaati a evil wing mage. So Could there be a conection between Ganon and Vaati???
What do you think....

(I haven't played the Fs yet, So I'm not quite sure)

Re: He he the Wind....

Quote:
My country lay within a vast desert. When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. And when the moon climbed into the dark of night, a frigid gale pierced our homes. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing... Death. But the winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. I coveted that wind, I suppose.
I believe it has some relevance to this quote said by Ganondorf himself. He stated here that the winds that blew across Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. He then after a pause, mentions he coveted that wind which means he felt envious of those particular winds. When the Master Sword was thrusted into his skull he then as you have said that "The wind... it is... blowing. . . " and laughs. This can only mean that the winds of Hyrule in which he coveted were blowing. It can mean many things but its not actually said, this may explain how Ganondorf may come to life. Its confusing I know but well done for mentioning it.

I guess Link fighting Ganondorf in Hyrule was a bad idea in a way. The winds that were blowing may have given Ganondorf an advantage or something. Since the winds that blew across Hyrule did not bring suffering and ruin like those that blew over his land. Maybe the winds carried the opposite to Death, so this is certainly a interesting factor to consider. I guess we will wait and see.

Hope this helps.

To tell you the truth, i thought he went crazy. I mean, he was just stabbed in the frontal lobe man! He could of snapped. i mean you don't go, "hmm... there's a sword in my head, oh well what do you feel like-" when a swords in your head! But i don't know where you got the idea he was talking about Vaati, he wasn't even in the series at the time.

Well, part of your post asked about the connection between Ganon(dorf) and Vaati. In FSA, they are connected. Vaati joined forces with Ganon, although Ganon was the high man on the totem pole. As for FS, Ganon isn't even mentioned.

Yeh... Perhaps Ganon, because of his insane love for the wind, hired Vaati the wind sorcerer to help him out.

Did you not just read the quote from the game above? Ganondorf says that the wind only brings pain and suffering. Why would he love the wind so much?

Ganondorf's speech about the wind has nothing to do with Vaati.

Ganondorf grew up in a land of harsh winds. "When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. And when the moon climbed into the dark of night, a frigid gale pierced our homes. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing... Death."
Throughout his early life, he hated the violent wind. When he came to the fields of Hyrule and felt a gentle breeze, that feeling was completely new to him. He never knew how soothing the wind could be before then, since he had only known the terrible desert winds. When Ganondorf felt the gentle winds, he probably experienced contentment for a few moments. That of course is the only way Ganondorf has ever been able to feel content; at all other times he is continuously seeking more and more power, and he can never be satisfied. But he remembered the peace he felt in that wind, and he longed to feel it again.

When Ganondorf is atop his tower and Link thrusts the Master Sword into his forehead, Ganondorf feels that gentle wind. He had longed for years to feel it again, but now Ganondorf was dying as the wind was blowing, just as his people had died when the wind came. Ganondorf is laughing because of the irony in that.
