....what the heck is that thing?

Here's a question for all the TP experts at ZU. In the screenshot below, what is the "object" directly above Link and Epona that Link often breaks through in order to regain health (hearts) or rupees. I assume its the new version of the slicable plants from OoT, but it looks a lot more like bones or rock, especially when it shatters. My guess is that its a bokoboblin corpse, but then again you dont see such graphical objects in nintendo games. As Wielder of the Sword suggested, I've made a thread about it. So what is it?

If it wasnt so blurry, you'd see that its a bee hive. In the middle of a field. With no trees around. Or bees. Ok, i have no clue what that is o_o

I don't think agree that it's a beehive, but I can't see it well either. So I can't be talking. If you had a clearer picture, dark_link93...

It could be a sign. Like the ones in Hyrule Fields.

Yeah, that's true. But wooden signs don't [really] shatter. They...splinter.

It's a crate lying on the ground. It's quite obvious when you watch the high-res video.

You're right though, the plants seemed to have disappeared. Maybe that's just for the E3 demo.

Yes, you can kinda see the latch in the screen.

As for no grass in TP, I sincerely doubt it. It is odd that they wouldn't have something that simple though...

hey, you know, that thing on the horizon looks like the gate of Hyrule Castle Town in OoT! If you look at it really fast.Oh, and yeah, that thing above Link's head could be something he got from from running though grass..

Actually, due to the sorry shape if the building, it seems that it might be the entrance to the jousting area, as seen in the "boss fight" with the goblin king...

I think it could be just some sort of rock...or a pile of bones. The sound it makes when it shatters is kind of scratchy, like the sound of a basket breaking.

I'm leaning towards the pile of bones idea.

i have know idea what that is.it loooks like a lot of thigs 2 me.

Probably a barrelmof some sort but that wudnt make any sense. Most logically a rock, but they dont break the way those things do.

It is a crate when you cap it from the high res video you have torember this is olny a demo (Before the Delay) so these things could change dramitically before the relaese of the game next year.

Yeah it's a crate, a little off point but what are the things at the bottom of the screen that he uses to feed epona to go faster?

I think those are ööh... Cowboy boots have them and with them you can kick some speed to your horse. So this time you don´t feed it.(can´t remember what they are called, thought...)

I know it's the jousting area, I just looked over it really fast and I must have had my mind on OoT!

A crate, really? It looks like a plant to me. I need to look at it closer. I wonder who left the crates out in the middle of nowhere...Well, I guess it makes more sense than plants. A crate is more likely to have items inside than a plant. And I guess some traveller could have been on their way to a town and the crates fell off. So I guess it's not that weird. Lol, when I first looked at the pic I thought it was some sort of status bar above his head, like the speed bars for the horse. But it looked strange. At least it's a change from OoT. They're trying to make it unique.

Anyways...


By the way, are any of you feeling generous?
