a new master quest glitch.

wow. glitches. i find too many...

Ok, here's what happened: I'm in the Spirit Temple. This is Master Quest. (duh.) Young link. I'm in the room with the red fire skulls and the sun blocks, and in case there's another room with them in it, the room i'm in has a switch in the middle to turn off the fire.
Ok, so I pull a couple of boxes into the sunlight, and the door that leads to a locked room unlocks. So I go in, play around with the skulltula, realize I don't have a key (and never will cause I glitched it out--if you want to hear about that, ask.) so I go back. I walk over to the sunlight, and right then it didn't look like it, but two sun blocks were melted together. I had to pull one a little bit to see it. If you pull it too far so that it comes out of the other one, you can't get it back in.
So two boxes were melded together...pretty weird.
I found it last night. This morning I got link to climb up thru the floor in the deku tree, but that's minor...

heh, in that temple I jumped through the water that pushes upward, so I could get to the side w/o needing to make them lower, then I had a key from the other side, used it on the wron side, there'for, not being able to finish the game ever. so... i turned it off after i enjoyed the glitch and did it the right way.

yeah, that's what i did, too.
stupid water...should've had a switch to turn it off nearby, if it did, i wouldn't have had to start over...
actually, i started over twice, once a while back. But I lost my ocarina to a glitch after dodongo's cavern, so I decided to start again today.

I didn't Find one Glitch with Master Quest...I thought it Would be harder to have glitches with the CD and all.

i found a glitch in master quest!i was walking in the kokiri forest as a kid and suddenly died!

Get away with hurting the victims of the spider curse:
Hit the people in the spider house (you have to hit them from the front then sneak around to their back and hit their back) and then take out something that makes the message that says "looks like this item doesn't work here" appear. Wait for the spider to un-freeze (it will unfreeze while you're holding up the item) and then you press A. MUAH HA HAH HAH!!! YOU JUST GOT AWAY WITH MURDER!! Well, almost ^.^

And uh...what else...oh yeah. This is on Metroid Prime (gamecube duh), but it's not a sort of glitch that you can do at will, i think. What happened was, I was going up the elevator to Chozo Ruins East, and you know how the camera moves to get Samus in view? Well, RIGHT before Samus got in view (it looked like it was trying to view the floor) it STOPPED! The music went on. (It was like when you do crooked cartridge on mm or oot or something.) And after the shock wore off, I pressed a couple of buttons, and waited a few seconds, and then there was this LOOOOOOONG LOUD beep! For the next few minutes, I waited for something to happen (punching buttons of course) but nothing happened. The beep wouldn't stop, and of course it wouldn't UN-freeze, so I turned it off. I did it again and nothing happened.
Very strange....for anyone who has metroid prime, has this happened? Then again, it WAS a rental. But that shouldn't make any difference:-\ (Hmmmmm, maybe I should go to a metroid-fan forum and post this?)

I seriously can't remember if I've posted this next one before. I've got my mind on cramming math problems into my head (crossing out nines to check problems, what is with that? so complecated and it's easier just to check problems the regular wa--) so...I really can't remember...

game-- Luigi's mansion. glitch area-- The room with all the dust on the floor that you have to suck up to get through, and one of those switcheroos that you step on to get to the ceiling. There's only one room like that. Shouldn't be too hard to find...I'll try and find the name for it in a bit... ANYWAY. what the glitch does: makes Luigi DIAGONAL (and upside down) and his head is going into the floor. Freeze for a bit. how I did it: I was chasing a boo in this room, and while I was sucking it up, I accidentally backed up into the switch and at the same time, got the boo into the vacuum. Right then Professor E. Gadd (of course) contacts you cause you got the boo (...DUH....) and of course, there luigi is, stickin up like so in this stupid lil' picture I made of him cause I couldn't get a screenshot (inhales) and here it is....this is PRETTY much what it looked like ^^

It's not exactly a glitch, it's a trick. And I'm willing to bet it was intentional, but whatever. I talk too much >_< Ok, first of all, this is for the last boss battle of Star Fox Adventures, so if you don't want to read on, don't. It's a teeny tiny spoiler. Ack. That sounded lame.
game, star fox adentures. trick: get away from andross sucking you up. how to do it: (it's approved. worked every time i did it.) Just when he tries to suck you up, push the joystick all the way to the right (can be done to the left too) and press R over and over until he's done inhaling. I never got hit by the asteroids (did I spell that wrong?) so...anyway....it's just a trick to get out of it. It helps. A lot.

place: Master Quest, Forest Temple, room where the blocks that you have to shove out of the way are.
what happens: Hit the switch that untwists the hallway early.
how to do it: When you're at the top of the room, and you hit the switch to make the hookshot platform rise up, turn to the left (hopefully you're with me) and look down into the dropoff that leads to the bottom of the room. There's floating platforms of ice. Drop onto the one closest. Then, jump as close as you can to the ice that covers the switch, and do a jump attack. It should hit the switch. If it doesn't, try again. Aim for the switch, of course.

You know the ladder that leads into the well? While the well is full of water, jump in, and climb up the ladder. Pay attention at where Link steps. There's ripples where he steps!

....Sky gazing.....To make the patrolling gerudos (in purple) look up at the sky, after you get the membership card, go to the gerudo fortress on epona. Talk to a patrolling gerudo (DON'T Z/L-TARGET). Then when you're done that ride a little bit away so that the A-button doesn't say "speak" and get down off epona. The guard should still be looking up at the sky.

none of THOSE should screw up the game.

Oh yes...and one way to screw up any game...NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER TAKE OUT THE CARTRIDGE IN THE NAME SCREEN! EVER!!! *phew* ok...done with the warning.

Maldrea, exactly the same thing happened to me the first time i was playing my Metroid Prime, it was so weird, but i dont think is a glitch just a mistake that happens while loading the the chozo ruins.

This happened to me too. I was so freaked out! And of course I hadn't saved in a long time. :mad:

I found a glitch in Master Quest. In JJ's belly, there is a room with a curved hall leading to an open area. This area has a ditch with water that u can raise by hitting a switch, and on the right is an alcove with nothing but a spout of water. Still with me? Go into the alcove and you can walk along the wall (well really just a steeply inclined part of the floor) and go behind the spout. It should push you up and out through the ceiling. Now you can fall into the greenish-yellow background color.

I'm gonna go try that one...good find.
I'm glad I'm not alone on the metroid glitch, guys.
I probably won't be finding any other glitches on it, though, because I got so frustrated at the phendrana drifts (the part after you get the viewer that lets you see in the darkness, I can't remember any of the item's names)... that i shut off the game, and I didn't want to get frustrated like that again, so I didn't play it anymore...guilty! aw, it was a rental.

Yeah The Same Thing Happened To Me In Metroid Prime To. That Beep Was So Annoyin'. It Actually Happened To Me Multiple Times Before Nothin' Happened.

Shadow Temple MQ glitch--
In the room with the sign that says, "Only the one with the eye of truth can find the umbrella against the rain of blades" or something, take out your ocarina RIGHT when the chopper is at the middle point of going UP. So it lands, _ , then it gets to the middle, - , then it's all the way up....*looks in character map*...¯ . when it's at - is when you want to take out your ocarina.
When you take out your ocarina, there's a sound like a gate opening, and it doesn't stop.

number 2- bottom of the well
I was going up a ladder, because in the other temples, if a wall master tries to get you, you can go up a ladder and it'll disappear. Not in this case, this time, I was climbing up the ladder while the wallmaster grabbed me, you could hear link scream and everything, but i kept going up the ladder until the camera went under link and you could see the wallmaster carrying him up.

number 3- (About 99% chance that it's totally fake!! .shadow temple.)
While I was going though the one hall with all the skulls on the walls that say scary stuff, I thought I heard a ribbit. Weird, right?? Of course, that was just my imagination...but it's still funny.
Zak told me he heard it, too (he was watching me play) but he'll say anything...
I really don't mind if you laugh. I did. Don't bother looking for it, it was probably just my mind tricking me, but I thought it was kinda funny that I would hear a ribbit just then, I had to post it!

Spirit Temple-- Hit the snake ghost guy really easily: I forgot what they're called. Anyway, as a child, the first room you see the snake ghost, get between the chest and the snake. Hit the chest when the snake ghost is behind it, and you can hit it really easily, also, the fire it spews it blocked by the chest!

number 5-- The like like in the spirit temple MQ as a child.
I guess it might be common knowledge, but when that first like like that comes down out of a cage grabs you, the 'A' button says grab. .... nothing else for that one.
