First Sage temple problems...

Well... Im into one of the temples, and in the first big room...

Im supposed to take that little girl with the wings on top of my shoulders, and make her fly over to another button on a pillar.

BUT... How the f*** do you make her fly??? I throw her, and then she uses her wings like twice, and then falls to the ground...?

I've tried all the buttons, and even though she tells Link how to do it, I just cant figure it out, since it doesnt work!

Play the command melody then use A to fly. Didn't you listen to what the King of Red Lions said before you entered?

Yes you can fly a bunch of times when you use Medli.

Well.. That's the problem... I did exactly what im supposed to.. But she just wouldnt fly... Oh well.. I'll have to try again!

comand melody, i dont remember the directions but yeah.
if you use that then you play as her. you fly her over to the button

Left - Neutral - Right - Neutral

When your flying as Medli, a red bar appears in the corner that counts down the more you fly. As you progress through the Temple Medli can fly holding you for longer.

Keep tapping A to fly.
