Im in need of major help

Ok this is my situation if u can please help me!

Ok so i just beat the game and after watching all of the cinematics and everything there is something that pops up.
It says something like the game will over write a file so that u can play over the file or something like that.
So it goes back into the file slecting screen and i think that the over writing thing was over so i select my file thinking im going to play it and then it does the saving thing, then i go back to my file and its totally restarted.

the file has like a little triforce thing next to it on the file select screen and im not sure what that means.

There must be some way to get back my file. There just has to be! Im so depressed so if anyone has anything that might help please, im begging please tell me im deperate !!!!!!!!!!!

Moved to GameCube Zelda.

When you beat the game, you can start a new one where you're wearing new clothes, can see the translations for the Hylian things people say, and other things I forgot.

thats cool but is there any way that i can get my file back that was saved over?

Nope there is no way to get it back..you should have saved it to another file before.

i know this sounds kind of crazy but is there any way to hack into the game or system or anything to find it or reverse the saving over it?

(These crazy, stupid ideas show how desperate i am)

I very much doubt that you can hack the GC files. besides, even if you could, if its saved over, it's deleted.

I think it's so funny when people do this.

Anyway, there is no way to get your old file back, sorry.

whenver it asks you to save a game after yo ubeat it..please remember to save it over a empty file..(they should put more files in the game anyway)

just beat the game agian... trust me, it wont take that long. besides, its fun to run around in invisible clothes

Thats good since you need to get the Pictures of the Bosses for Figureens.

yeah, you are screwed in trying to get your old file back. Just hope you didn't work too hard in getting a lot of heart pieces etc...

dont they give you a warning before you save your new game to a file?

Well then he shuld have known if it asks you to overwrite a game to not overwrite then you wanted to use.

Yeah it asks you if you want another save file for a second quest.

Thats like my Dad he skips all the words and gets to the Fighting. I like to talk to everbody in a game....but for some reason I finish it faster than my dad who skips all the talking.
