The Rito and the Zora

Everybody knows how the Rito's are ancestors to the Zora's, But does anybody have a theory on how they transformed?. Mine goes like this: If you notice in Ocarina of time the Zoras Only swim In Lake Hylia and Zora's Domain which i believe is fresh water. So when Hyrule was Flooded The Zora's had to transform into the Feathery Rito's we know of today, So I believe that they transformed because they cant breath in Saltwater and they had to adapt to their new enviroment. Or Maybe the Gods just skipped a couple thousand years in evolution. These are just my oppinions what do you think?

Re: The Rito and the Zora

Their fins sorta look like wings. Ruto's fins look like butterfly wings, awwww.

Their noses are sort of sharp, and could turn into beaks,.

Re: The Rito and the Zora

maybe some Zora stayed in the Sea and became the fish people and some choose to go onto land to make a living out of being messengers because it would be hard to get messages around by boat

I think the Goron's are kind of laying low in The Wind Waker because you hardly see any of them and they wear those large hats, like they are keeping their identitys or their faces a secret.

Re: The Rito and the Zora

I think the gorons movved to another land or stayed with hyrule because they hate water so they could have been given the choice of a sleep until they can live happily again

Re: The Rito and the Zora

The one where the goddess did not want people to remeber hyrule so they turned them into birds seems most logical. But my beliefs are the last of few the zoras could have mated with creatures that could fly because there may have only male zoras left and thus over time forming the rito, It sorta makes since. ( do female zoras have to mate to have eggs or do they just form, thats why I put only male zora were left because I wasnt sure)

Re: The Rito and the Zora

I think they have to mate, it says something about a father when Lulu lays eggs.

Re: The Rito and the Zora

No one was supposed to see Hyrule, so that's why there aren't any deep-sea divers, the only fish are the wierd map-giving ones (wich I don't really think are fish at all), and the water was opaque (XD), and that's why the Zora were magically "evolved" into Rito. They didn't need to change the Gorons- do you really think a Goron can swim that well?

I think that the Gorons move to Termina.
