Master Sword in Twilight Princess?

Anybody know if the Master Sword is gonna be in Twilight Princess? I know it's the Sword of Evil's Bane that is, in any Zelda game, necessary to kill Ganon, but I'm unsure as to whether or not Ganon is actually going to BE IN TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!!! He'd better be. I wanna see how sweet the Master Sword looks wif DECENT GRAPHICS THIS TIME!

i do beleive it's offocial that Ganon will be a part of the game, so the MS should be in it, I guess.

You found the Master Sword!!.......Again....you'd think they would hide it better, wouldn't you? What makes it so masterful anyway it just sits there until someone picks it up.

The master sword was carved by the gods it is the ultamite weapon of light, that is what makes it so masterful, and I hope Ganondorf and the master sword are in twilight princess.

Although Ganon was twice (or was it three times?) vanquished by the master sword, he was also destroyed with the four sword. also, link isn't the hero of time or wind he is a new hero entirely, he might not be able to wield it (but the chances of it not showing up are quite unlikely as well)

Take a bigger look at that sword hilt, and the uhmm.. sword holder thingy (hehe, I completely forgot the name). Looks strikingly similar to the Master Sword. Well it definately ain't the standard one from the trailers. Hopefully someone can get an image of this with better clarity, I only used paint

Well about that screenshot. If they sword is different I dunno, zooming in that much can mess up the picture. But the sword holder thingy (I also forgot the name >.>) does look different then the one seen in other screenshots. Or maybe it's just screwed up again by the zooming in.

I still have my doubts. Ok, so they say Ganon will be in the game. But that doesn't mean he will be a important character (yeah you heard me) He could just be mentioned, or maybe someone want's to revive him and he's not actually free yet. So maybe the master sword isn't needed. But that again, I don't think Ganon is needed in a game in order to have the Master Sword in the game, but that's just me.

So who knows, time will tell.

I'm not sure, but I recall that the thing is called the hilt? Not sure about the side things of it still. But yeah, I think it's called a hilt. It does look awefully familiar though...

Anyhoo, I definitely want to run across a statue of Ganondorf with the Sword impaled in his head.

who can defeat Ganondorf (ganondork ) and without it ganondork
would never be seald in the "dark realm"

Exactly what LOZ_05 said, and what makes it so masterful is only the Hero is the rightful owner and the only one able to weild the sword and pick it up from it's pedistal. Think of it like King Arthur's Excalibur. At first it was just a sword in a stone, but whoever could pull the sword out will become the new king (and I'm guessing that fate decided who was going to be the new king).

someone sharpened that image and it was clearly the mastersword (it was on another forum, i think ign) but thats when the pic came out so its probably like 130 pages back. The "sheath" has the gold designs like the mastersword's, and the hilt and hand guard are the same and the dark blue color.

The Master Sword is in the game. If you saw the screenshots released right before Trailer 2 and you are not blind, you would have already known this.

lol you can't prove thats the Master Swrord from thats kinda shot

But it has been comfirmed that Ganon is in it, But of course they are not releaseing any detials on him.

Actually, it was forged by the Sages mentioned in the opening credits in ALttP. ...I think. Anyway, the point is that it's the blade of evil's bane. The reason it's so masterful, Baratona, is that it cannot be touched by those with impure hearts. Only the Hero can wield it effectively. Also, it has the power to repel evil, as is implied by its title: Blade of evil's bane. Remember in TWW?

...Sad... I pity you for your lack of memory. You, as someone with quite a few posts, should know what the Master Sword looks like. That's not the Master Sword. It has wing-like structures at either side of the hilt, and has an emblem of the Triforce at the base of its blade. That is just an ordinary sword--the same one seen in all the screenshots thus far, to be exact. Examine the shot more closely.

And it can also be called a scabbard.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Master Sword is in the game. There's a Tower of Gods-like location and graphical effects in the game, and it's a Ganon/Zelda/Triforce game. Plus there's that screenshot that's been pointed out.
I hope there's something more special about the Master Sword this time than "Congratulations! You are the Hero of ____! Go seal Ganondorf up again!" Nintendo had better have a darned good reason if they bring it back again.

Okay, firstly, that's not the same sword. If you look kinda closely you'll find the hilt is a blue-ish colour and the handle is like, a winged shape like the MS.

Second, the sheath (thanks Boba old pal) looks very similar to the one used for the Master Sword in OoT.
