Fairy??? heres to hoping not

Do we HAVE to suffer through another fairy targeting system again... i couldnt really tell from the E3 vids... what do you guys think, and do you want to put up with a replay of Navi's LISTEN...LISTEN...YOU JERK LISTEN WHEN IM TRYING TO TALK TO YOU

^ Maybe you didn't know, but Link uses an eye targeting sysytem instead of using a fairy. Besides, how can u hate navi? She was cute with her "LISTEN!!" and "HELLO!!" Go to www.ign.com and watch some of the videos for the game, and you'll see that an arrow just shows over the enemy when you L target them.

how can you say navis cute because of the LISTEN and all the HELLO's, it drove me nuts! i felt like bottling her and throwing her into the hunted wastlands or something. i prefer tatl cause shes not so annoying

Well I hope so, but I just hope it won't be Navi or someone like her.

I think it's safe to say there wont be any fairies in the game....aside from the life healing one's.

The fairies in tWW looked so sad when you captured them in a bottle It was a little guilty pleasure, keeping them in there. (no holes in the lid, even!)

Speaking of fairies..none of the gameplay footage or trailers has shown hide or hair of one, have they? I hope they at least have the healing type - otherwise it would be the first Zelda without 'em.

Navi was helpful, but I have to agree that her little soundbytes got rather old - rather quickly. Tatl's ringing was less grating, and her snarky attitude made up for the rest.

Hmm...fairy NPC's would be neet to see in Twilight Princess.

Are we all forgeting the most important guy EVER in the LoZ series!?!?! YAY! TINGLE! He's GOT to be in it... it wouldn't be a LoZ game without him! LOL!

I dont mind faries but I hatted it in oot in the Duku tree when she said stuff I would of figured out in 10 seconds even if I hadnt read the manual and they could ofat least made it possible to skip.

With Midna riding around on your back all the time, the need for a fairy is eliminated - their purpose is fulfilled by something else.

Why have Navi, WHEN you have the Z button (push the Z button to get a hint) Thats a great idea, no annoying fairy

And I am pretty sure there will be healing faries... Thats just part of Zelda.... but if they want to make it hard they might exclue them for once...

they may exclude the faeries but the potions will still be there, like the red potion so it won't be too tough. that just means you have to remember to use the potion instead of being able to rely on a faerie to wake you up after death

I wouldn't mind a navi-type fairy, but i think you should be able to disable it's "helpful" comments, since so many seem to find them annoying.

I hope your kidding and if you airn't then sorry to say it but Eiji confirmed that there will be no Tingle in this game. Sorry to break your heart if you are a serious fan of Tingle

How could you love tingle. You had to have all this stuff and he over charged you. Geez I always wanted to stick the master sword up his.... *Admin looks at Lord_myles threateningly.* never mind.......

Ya i dont think you have a fairy with you in this game even though when you target an enemy(as seen in random TP clips)a thing at the bottom of the screen says (hint) and if you push z the hint comes up.I suppose this cancels out the fairy.....*sets up picture of navi and uses it as target practice*.

I thought that perhaps the Z-hint was for the E3 demo only? Any evidence for or against that?

^Not that i know of but it beats having a fairy!
