Fado...same guy from Wind Waker?

I forgot where, might have been here, but I heard that it was clarified that Fado was the name of a character that was gonna be in Twilight Princess. Will this be the same Fado that we see in Wind Waker? Your thoughts or facts.

Actually I heard that him and Laruto are in it. To pray in the temples for the Master sword's power. I think it would be cool to see them alive. Wonder how big a part they'll play?

I don't think it will be the same Fado, because he is so far from Kokiri Forest. He is not even in Hyrule any more.

I heard that the game was gonna take place inbetween OOT and TWW...and Link does eventually go to Hyrule, Feline Witch. Maybe Kokiri Forest is in the game.

We don't know for certain, half the forum is split up about that.

I know Link eventually goes to Hyrule Hab, but Fado is who I am talking about. ^_^

But I don't think a Kokiri would be outside Hyrule, looking after goats. But on the other hand, could Nintendo be making a point about showing him, or is he just too unimportant to even show?

Who said anything about Fado looking after goats? Fado is a sage in TWW who dies because of Ganondorf. He's supposed to be a long time friend of a past Link, as it is mentioned in the game. And I heard that Fado is gonna be in TP. Maybe sages have something to do with TP?

the Fado in TP is in Toaru village looking after goats, so I'm not all that sure it's the same Fado....

You're right, maybe they just used the name again for some other character. They did it before, didn't they? (I read that there were towns called "Ruto" or "Mido" in an older Zelda- game, and the same names are characters in OoT)

I don't really know, my knowledge is gleaned from this site and random articles. Just look online for articles about Twilight Princess, and you can learn more. I think the infamous Gamespy and Ign are running articles.

nah I am sure it was comfirmed it is way after tWW.

It'd be cool if Fado and Larato were in this game and were the same people from WW.
They might be the same but look a bit different.
If they aren't the same though I don't care too much, I know this game will ROCK!!!

I don't think so, remember, Fado's soul was taken away, turning him into a spirit. So I don't think it will be the same person.

But I do agree with LLF, it would be awesome if the same Laruto and Fado from WW were in this game.

A bit confusing but it makes sense. Nintendo never uses random names for nothing, it's unlogical. The towns in Zelda II where probably named after the sages from Oot (timeline theory is really twisted ). Fado will be in TP, it's between Oot and Tww, it makes sense! Besides Tarou village may be close to the Kokiri forest; it is a wooded setting, maybe Fado got a job.

Fado and Laruto are both ancient guardians of the two old temples

fado and laruto were both killed by ganon and his minions but it is a slight possibility that fado and laruto will be appearing in a spiritual sense in twilight princess
maybe as guides...
