My idea about the rito

I know the biggest theory about them is that they evolved from zora when the great flood happened. But i think they evolved from gorons because the mountain of there island looks alot like death montain and it would be a much better reason for evolution because gorons cant swim. (well thats what i think anyway)

Re: My idea about the rito

Well the problem kind of is that Gorons are still around as merchants.

And Ruto says the harp was past down for generations and belonged to there ancestors. When you visit the earth temple with her the old sage a Zora will appear with the same harp. Thus the Zora were the ancestors of the Rito

Re: My idea about the rito

I forget where they are (I am sure you see one on the child island in the Mother and Child isles) and one in greatfish isle. You'll see gorons wearing shirts and hats. I think if you use a deku leaf on them, their hats blow away.

Re: My idea about the rito

Why would they evolve from Zoras? The zoras wouldn't mind a great flood. They are fish, after all.

Re: My idea about the rito

This is because since the Zora's are fish. Fish can swim underwater and discover the past. Hyrule buried away for generations, it was more than 100 years people, was never to be seen again. That is until ganon came back.

I must say, that's pure genius. I never thought of it like that. No one took a look at this theory (actually a fact- Nintendo confirmed rito=zora) from that angle.

Re: My idea about the rito

they didnt have a choice, the only reason the Zoras arnt found is that the Gods changed them to Rito. Sure the Zoras wouldnt mind the great flood because they can survive under water. The Gods changed the Zoras to the Rito, maybe because they didnt want anyone to know the existance of Hyrule. now if this is true you thinking 'what about the Gorons' well since the Gorons couldnt have lived through the flood the Gorons came from a diffrent land, they are after all traveling merchants (sp)

hmm yea thats my theory anyways
