What form will Midna take?

I seem to remember reading in an interview somewhere that Link would turn into a wolf when he enters the Twilight Realm (obviously), and that when Midna enters normal Hyrule she also takes an alternate form.

What do you think this could be? Another animal? Something that we have already met but was mutated when entering the Twilight Realm? What if Midna is a mutated Ilia? We never saw any more of her after she was taken by that orc.

What do you guys think? Am I just rambling?

I think she will become a item that link can use, thats why you dont see her or anything eles with link in the screens/videos, maybee she turns into the lens of truth since she has that symbol on the back of her head and in the new trailer it looks asthough she could see things link cant (like the rats on links neck)

yeah i agree. deffinatley think she will become the key item or instrument. maybe somthing to do with her crown? dont think it wil be somthing as generic as lens of truth though

Maybe the lens of truth is one of her lesser abilities. I think you are right, because there was that scene in the trailer where the skeletons suddenly appear.

I think she will turn into Link's love interest. Or maybe someone who growls whenevery a Link fangirl makes a pass at him. Zelda appears, "Back off duchess! This is mine!" snarls Midna.

I think Midna will probably be very kawaii in both forms.

heh, the Master Sword was suggested a few times.

Mabye she is the Essence of the Master Sword, like you meet the Triforce Essence at the end of LtthP. I hope not, swords don't have cat ears. I want Midna to be a good chara, and not just turn into a lump of metal to make some kind of "revelation".

Something I noticed is that Midna's headgear is a bit like the horns on the King of Red Lions. But I doubt that has anything to do with her being an object. But maybe they are related. Maybe Midna is the transformed Queen of Hyrule!

I think that midna might be the hawk. If you think about it, this makes sense, becuase when link goes into Twilight he becomes a wolf, so why shouldn't Midna become an animal when she enters the regular world?

she might become the spirit of the head gear she wears, and link wears it when in the normal world. hey, it could happen! *inselt loud laughing here*

Well, IGN or some company of that sort already asked Aonuma what Midna would be in the normal world and if she could exist and he answered: well, if you take that as the bare minimum of existence then yes. or something like that

so if you believe the developer of the game then it looks as if Midna won't be anything more than something that can barely exist in the normal world.

Perhaps she is a ghost in the normal world. Remember that Midna is EVIL, Nintendo has already stated that Midna is evil but needs Link for reasons unknown. I seriously dought that an evil creature would be one of Links items. I would also remind you that it has only been stated that Humans are affected by the Twilight. Humans turn into animals it has never been said that items turn into animals (if items could change what would stop buildings such as the castle which we clearly saw fully intact as a castle not an animal.)

besides, if you actually read and thought about the others posts you would have come to the conclusion that she couldn't be you so why say that?

I heard she might be the Mask of Truth, as she saw the skeleton pigs attacking Link in Twilight Realm. It stands to reason that she has a similar role in Hyrule.

When I read the interview, I think she is some kind of item in Hyrule. So.....

If she is an item, mabye she still has a voice. If she is the Lens of Truth (or something), and Link uses her too much for her liking, she might start yelling at him "Stop milking it! Take me back!" That would be funny.

I have posted this before but I couldnt find it-
my therory is that she is the lens of truth (wich explains the part in the trailor where she sees the ghost rats on links neck), in the light world and once in the dark world she take a living form,and is a princess of the dark world, now in order for the kidnapers to take over tha dark and light world they had to get lock her and zelda because they both are a thret because they both have some sort of power the bad guy dont have (zelda has light force and midna can see things others can not) they put a helmet on her to cut her away from her power and locked both princesses away in a tower.

midna is able to get part of the helmet to break off (reason for the cracks on the helmet) enabling her to use some off her power but not all of it, so she seeks the help of Link to help get her kingom back, and Link needs her because he cant get thought the dark world with out being able to see the dead since the dark world is full of dead things and thing only midna can see.

Thats what I think for now anyway,

what you have to think about is; that if you will be entering the twilight realm from different places and then doing your transformation, Midna is going to have to be close by to then jump on your back, so her changing into an item which you can carry when you leave could work, or perhaps she can't leave and exist outside? you might have to meet up with her inside the realm if thats the case. I'm starting to think you only work with her when escaping the castle and maybe a few other bits, does she really stay on your back all the time while in wolf form?
