Majoras Mask/Twilight Princess connection

I was going to upload some pics to show you this but iuploads.com is still busted. Anyway, take a close look at Midna, the impish creature that breaks wolf-link out of his cage. As you can see she wears a stone mask with a rather ornate design. The right eye has broken off of the mask but the rest is clearly intact. Upon closer inspection though the mask has the same markings as those on Majoras Mask. The only difference is the tall head piece, the face of the mask is identical down to the smallest detail.

Could this be the back-story to how Majora was imprisoned in the mask as well as having Ganondorf involved in the story?

Maybe not, Majoras mask's story has already been done and said, we dont wont a backstory for majoras mask, we want a new and fresh story.

What you want and what you get are two different things. So far the story of how Majora was imprisioned in the mask has not actually been told and so far recent Zelda games have been trying to avoid any Triforce related storylines and introducing villains other than Ganondorf. But no matter what you want to believe one thing is undeniable, the design of the mask Midna is wearing is identical to the design on Majoras Mask. Maybe she's from the tribe which the mask was said to be used for their hexing rituals.

the only thing that looks like to majoras mask is the eye piece, but also to say how many designs have been used from passed zelda games that have nothing to do with the zelda games it came from.

I have to agree with this. I don't think this game will involve the Majora's mask in anyway :S

Pardon me if I've been misinformed, but how the hell do you know that?

I dont think we can rule it out completely right now. What you think and the information we have is a different thing. That helmet Clearly shows MM markings.

and if you check on the ZU home page, it says we know that it is between OoT and TWW...so...at the end, it might be the king praying and flooding the land or something...

and yea there might be a small connection between MM and TP because since the land is bigger than OOT maybe it includes Termina.

This game has nothing to do with Oot and MM, why didnt WW have anything to do with MM, MM was an ALTERNATIVE DIMENSION (sp), and TP takes place in HYRULE and it is different to the Hyrule in Oot. I know that TP takes place DECADES after Oot and the alternative MM.

MM was alternative dimension, maybe they built Hyrule bigger.

TP is twilight princess, it is the name of the new zelda, search on gamespot.com or another gaming site that has nintendo games.

Or you could read one of the many threads that is going around and get all your information there, or you can just rread about it on the front page.

Information on the game isnt that hard to find you just have to look instead of putting it in a thread like this!

I wish you would all use some common sense.

The Twilight Princess will have nothing to do with Majora's Mask, or ANY of the games for that matter. It is a completely refurbished Link, refurbished Hyrule, refurbished everything. Ganondorf is more than likely the same dude, but everything is different. It may take place before Wind Waker, since Hyrule is flooded forever at the end of the game. Well, let's wait and see.

While I am typing, who here thinks that the mysterious cloaked figure is the Twilight Princess?
