Sages in WW, Strange, somehow????

I been thinking about this a loooong time now,
You that have played finish WW. (Spoiler warning)



Know that Medli is the earth sage, and Makar is the wind sage.

The one thing I don't understand, why nintendo did a rito to earht sage, while a korock to a wind sage, why not opposite, (since rito have wings, and are conected to the sky, and the Korocks are treelike creature)

Also that Laruto is earth and Fado is wind is also strange. (Zora=water, Kokiri=forest)

Okay, I know that I might been saying it's strange, (I don't mean bad about it,) just to know..

So I tried to find some conections with the elements, they are sage to.

* Ritos hold the Din pearl, Din the godess created the red earht...
* Korocks and the deku tree hold the farore pearl, in OOT you get Farore wind....

What do you think,,
do you have any reasons, so tell me...

Some how, I wondered about that too. OFF TOPIC-- First of all, Din didn't create the Oot world. Farore did. ON TOPIC-- There "weapons" could of made the difference too you know. The Earth Temple had a lot of holes in it to pour out light to kill monsters and stuff. In the Wind Temple, there was spots of soft earth so people( or koroks ) could plant special seeds that would grow in a instant.
If you can remember, Laruto had the same harp as Medli and Fado could of had the same type of power as Makar. To plant seeds and grow trees.

Except you're wrong. Din did create the land. Farore was responsible for life, and presumably air.

I always wondered about the fact that ritos were connected to the sky, and medli, being a rito, is the earth sage, and same going for Makar. Your theory on why they are sages to the temples they are sages to kind of makes sence (except about farore's wind thing). My answer is who knows? The creators might have wanted to do the opposie, I guess.

Din created the land, Naryu created knoweldge, Farore created life.

I soupose the ritos live on a mostly rock volcano but it still dosent really make sence
oof topic: Acutuly Naryu created the lore of the land eg. gravity turning of seasons stuff like that.

Ah yes, but what's the difference between lore of the land and knoweldge?

Actually, Nayru created the skies WITH her knowledge. She didn't create knowledge.

I've pointed out the important parts. I beleive, through my intrepretation of the text, that did indeed created the lore of the land, aka law. How things work, the way things are. But wouldn't that in turn create the logical mindset, knowledge, soforth?

I found it very strange that the sages didn't nicely corrospond with their elements, but they were reversed.

Wind Sage is a Forest Creature
Earth Sage is a Wind Creature

The only connection between the Rito and Fire would be the dragon, who flies but other than that.. Wind enhances Fire..

They don't corrospond like I mentioned and I'm wondering if there's a reason? same as you. I've only played Wind Waker through once, so I'll have to re-play to realize anything new..

what better sage of the earth than someone who can fly and see everything on it, and what better sage of the wind then a forrest planter (trees block wind)...

sorry it sounded much better in my head...

I think it should have been switched. Each is better suited to the other.

I think they should have explained where the hell those temples came from. Link awoke all the sages, where did these two new ones crop up?

And why does Nintendo insist on making the element "Wind" instead of "Air"? What is this, Xiaolin Showdown?

Urrgh, that show sucks, and it's such an anime wannabe.

I like both terms air in wind, I am having trouble deciding which one I want to use in my....
project (all will be revealed in good time, so wait a bit).

I have no idea were these new sages pop up from, how did Ruto's descendant hop from water to earth?

Interesting, I also thinks that. here is some of mine other ideas.

Din:
Power
the red earth
fire
ruby
seasons, (maybe)

Nayru:
Wisdom
knowledge
water
saphire
love
ages (maybe)

Farore:
courage
wind
life
forest
esmarald
secrets (maybe)

Here you see that din can symbolize earth, so some conetions there is between the Rito and din, since they hav her gem.

And farore for wind.

the earth element to din is said in OOT when Deku tree talks,, Din, with her strong flamings arms,, she created the red earth.. or something like that.
And farore wind, well, it is a item, but it must mean something, some goes fore Nayru's love. The seasons, ages and secret is actually from the oracle with the same names, but who knows, maybe the oracle and the godess have some conetions,..

Anyway, it true would fit better opposite.

since farore made life it shoud go with the koroks because they create life as well...

I always feel that Farore is the tomboyish godess, since in the statue of her, her hair is cut short like Saria's, and she wears flowers. So I think she is the godess of wood, and of forests, she is the one who takes delight in life.
