Hearts in the Wind Waker

I'm currently at Ganon's Tower (or whatever it is called), and I wanted to know if I should stock up on heart pieces before venturing further. My full heart amount right now is 14.


How many heart containers did you have when you first started Ganon's Tower?

How many heart containers would you recommend that I have?

You'll probably be fine with 14 hearts. I did fine with a little less I think.I don't remember the exact amount, it's been so long since I've played. I got more

Ganon's Tower isn't hard.

You should be fine with 14 hearts, just keep a fairy or some Elixir soup if you feel you need it
I did it with 16/17 i think...But that was cuz i searched alot cuz i had nothing better to do ^_^

I had 17 but ww Gannon is so easy that 14 will be just fine, what you really need is 2 bottles of that soup that gives you more attack plus health and magic.

Get as many as Possible! You will go through a summary of every dungeon in the game. so you will need to have alot of heart containers and faries.

I think, the more you have, the better you are. It is harder for you to get killed! Duh!

I killed him with 3 hearts. Too easy. (of course I had to stock some fairies with me hehe)

Ganon really isnt the threat in tha level. It's more like his castle is.

Anyways, I beat puppet ganon and Ganondorf without any sort of potion or elixer.

Did Ganondorf seem like an easy battle to you?

Yes, he was easy. But it was a very original battle (the first swordfight we've had), and it was very atmospheric.

Yeah, I thought it would be hard and filled all four of my bottles with fairies, and didn't use one. I think I had 12 hearts. Superspork was right, though, it really as a monumental battle.

There isn't too much damaging to Link in the Ganon battle. With the puppet, it is mostly just staying away from him, which isn't hard. I couldn't figure out how to beat him for a while, but I was never killed. I had a stalemate for a while. You don't need too many hearts.

I had 9 hearts (and still do ) and I have to admit it even though the fight with Ganondorf was easy it was kinda fun its finally a sword fight where you can fight a TRUE swordsman (Orca sucks he's my punching bag *goes to beat up Orca again*)

How did you manage to only have 6 heart containers? Do you just negect most of them?

14 are more than enough .For my first time I beat him with 11.
He is not hard.
A tip for 3rd morph o puppet ganon bombs

I hated Puppet Ganon, but WW Ganondorf is my favourite bossfight EVER. Not that it was challenging, but it was so damn fun - and so damn atmospheric. Fighting Ganondorf in a real swordfight, pseudo-rain falling down all around you... always on your toes, waiting for that 'parry' symbol - it was just incredible. Easy, though - you don't need much, just a bottle of elixer soup and maybe a fairy.

Meh ganondorf was a joke i beat him with only5 hearts and one one fairy.But i like the fight.if you are new zelda a little you will need like 12 hearts to beat him.
