New Hyrule Castle

Okay, no one get me wrong, I love the new graphic style on the Wind Waker, but does anyone else think the new Hyrule Castle looks a lot like Disnayland? I kept expecting to seeMickey Mouse pop out. He didn't, but if he did that would explain a lot about Kingdom Hearts.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

Hey, I ain't trying to cause trouble. All I'm saying is, the outside did look a lot like the Disney Castle. Not the inside. The inside was more Hyrulian in design. With the paintings, and the statue and the frozen moblins. Actually, the first time you go it looks sorta like the twilight zone. But that just raises further questions. I assure you I am not high. I was most likely associating it with that scene from Kingdom Hearts with the huge castle. You know the one I'm taking about.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

I think that first going down to Hyrule Castle, and then flooding it with color, was one of the best moments in any video game, ever.

If you think about it, I suppsoe it does resemble Disney's castle a bit, but ONLY if you think about it.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

If you say so.

Partly agreeing with Lord-of-shadow, the moment from when Link first gazes upon the Master Sword until Link walks out into the Courtyard was simply cool.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

it does look like disney land. but m main consern is why is the interior completely different layout? that happens in mario games too. in every one peach's castle looks totally different on the inside.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

Thank god. It would be boring beyond belief if they kept the same layout.

Especially considering it's NOT THE SAME castle as the one they had from OoT... it resembles the LttP one more, and depending on your veiws on the OoT time traveling business, Hyrule Castle from OoT may have been destroyed.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

Lttp had more of a moat(which matches the lake in tWW better), and the scenery seems more like LttP's... not much like it, but more then OoT's.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

I think this person meant that the inside didn't "fit" the outside, that it looked like a completely different castle from the inside, complete with layout.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

Considering that the Castle only has three places to go....

It would be unnecessary to have anything inside the Castle that would not be used or able to be entered.

Re: New Hyrule Castle

The only thing really similar is the colour.

As for the whole Hyrule Castle moment, it was easily one of the most memorable and astonishing in a video game that I have played.

That's what I thought at first too, until I noticed this part of his post:
