Correct me if i am wrong, but isn´t Jabu-Jabu from Oot Jabun in Tww?, and who is Fado? I mean, a sage from the old hyrule with green clothes, it cut only be saria.
But then a male kokiri shows up and tell me his name is Fado, and he playes the violin, not a fairyocarina. Please help me out. (I havent played any gameboy-zeldagames, so if the answer lies in such a game, forgive me) |

Re: Charachter
I'm not completely sure so don't flame me if I'm wrong, but I always thought Fado and Laruto were decendants of the old OoT sages. That's just what I always believed.

Re: Charachter
It sound´s right about them beeing decendants of the old sages, i mean, a zora, and a kokiri sage? But then again, it´s strange that Laruto is a earth sage, and Fado´s a wind sage, if their ancestors was sages for some completely different things. And after all, in an old middleageworld, people usually got married before having any kids, and since sages were not allowed to get married...
I don´t know, but thanks for the help anyway |

Re: Charachter
Well, I think Ruto's exact words were that she couldn't marry because she had to watch over the Water Temple. Maybe when Ganondorf was defeated, the Sages didn't have to watch over the Sage Temples. They remained Sages, but they could get married and have children as well, which ment that their children would become the new sages.
As for them being the 'Earth and Wind' sages, maybe the new sages assumed a different title than their parents. Who knows? Maybe Darunia's descendant became the Sage of Ice and Nabooru's descendant became the Sage of Magma. I don't know. Either way, I think it makes sense.

A kokiri by the name of Fado does exist in OoT...
...But it's not the same person, unless she got a sex change, dyed her hair, and somehow survived thousands of years of evolution and change. The Kokiri in OoT is a girl with blonde hair, I'm not sure exactly how specific that is (*doesn't have OoT*) but i've seen pictures of her.
Anyway, The Fado in this game is cooler IMO.

Re: Charachter
Laruto seems a Zora type and Fado could possibly be someone from the Korkiri Forest in OoT

Re: Charachter
Fado could be a descendant of Mido, leader of the Kokiri.

Re: Charachter
But still, no one really challenged his authority.
I always thought that their "descendants" were actually new Kokiri that were created to basically replace the few who died from whatever might happen. It -is- stated that the Deku Tree created the Kokiri, and they obviously know what dying is to think that that is what happens upon leaving the forest. But then, that's just my theory. |

Re: Charachter
Nowhere in any game or manual does it say that Kokiris don't die form sickness or old age... they just don't age beyond a certain age.
They probably die after 80 or so years just like humans. EDIT: Actually, when I said that they don't say that in any game or manual, I may be wrong... I honestly don't remember, did the Deku Tree ever say they were immortal in tWW?

Re: Charachter
I'm pretty sure, they just never age. I think the Kokiri do die eventually. Otherwise, the Kokiri and the Korok would be the same people, by which I mean, the same (Counting) bout eight kokiri you met in OoT would be the same Koroks in WW. This can't be true because the Koroks have different names. However this is very stupid logic. I think of a better argument later.
