Talking master quest better then oot

do you think that master quest is better then ocorina of time because i think it is better because all the dungeons are more challenging then they were in ocorina.

Re: master quest better then oot

You might think of it as better if you've beaten OOT over 20 bazillion times and is looking for a new challenfe of a classic game. In that case, you'd peobably like it better. On the other hand, if you have a short patience and get's pissed if you keep on doing the hard junk in the game, chances are you'll like OOT better.

Re: master quest better then oot

Master Quest was good, some parts were annoying, but it wasn't
really that much harder. So I think Oot was better.
I usually play the original, But master quest is a nice change.

I Prefer OoT over Master Quest...mainly because some parts of Master Quest just aggravated me...But still, Master Quest is a good challenge!

Original

If you remember, the zora princess used to feed Jabu-jabu, right?
How is she going to carry about 7 cows into his stomach?
It didn't make sence, the original was better by a longshot. (Pun not intended)

Re: master quest better then oot

No, I don't think Master Quest was better. Nor do I think it was any more challenging.

Ocarina of Time was better. The dungeons in Master Quest had some, very weird things in them, that just didn't make any sense. Like, torches hovering in mid-air, and the cows in Jabu-Jabu's Belly. Most of the puzzles weren't made more difficult to solve. They were just made more weird and meaningless.

I did not have more problems solving the puzzles in Master Quest, than I did, solving those in the original game, the first time I played it. Some of them were, in fact, easier.

Re: master quest better then oot

Masterquest was more anoying than anything really. I've played through OoT easily 20 times (yeah, i have no life, so sue me,) and when you've played through a game that many times, you tend to know alot about it, as in the qoute 'like the back of my hand.' I started up master quest to find the temples redone, not to say it was harder, just anoying becouse my knoladge of the game no longer aplied. What iritated me though, was the fact that master quest seamed easier in places than normal OoT, (IE the water temple an gettign the longshot without doing much of anything.) To an extent, master quest just kept me guesing, something OoT no longer did (heck, i was able to go through the desert wasteland backwards, without any help or drawing it in any way, thats how much i played it.) All in all, master quest was, to an extent, a dissapointment, but hay, you got it for free, and an excuse to play through OoT and master quest on the GC i'm not gunna pass up XD

Re: master quest better then oot

The Master Quest dungeons felt out of place to me. The first three dungeons were not bad considering they managed to put more enemies in, but the rest just had different puzzles in place. Really, that didn't add challenge to the game for me. Ganon's Tower was good though, since it was actually challenging. But many of the rooms in the Temple just seemed too different, like how some rooms had blocks and walls where it didn't look right, and some rooms were just empty (just like when you move out of your house and you see your living room with no furniture in it). Overall, Master Quest was a waste of my time since I had Gamecube games that I could have been completing.

That's what makes this game so cool! By beating OoT again and again, it became too easy. And I'm not even talking about tWW! this game was really too easy. So a big challenge like MQ is very welcomed!

If you wanted a game that you already know how to go through, you just had to stick with OoT. They made this game for real hardcore gamers that always want more and more Zelda. It would be boring to know where is everything and to be able to do everything closed eyes...
