Four Swords - Dark Cloud help

I'm in the dark cloud area and need some help. I have the slingshot and am trying to hit the black switches by the statues with the electricity. How do I aim diagonally?? All I can seem to do is aim up down left or right. Thanks for any help!

Let's see...well, slingshots *can't* shoot sideways, so you either have to get to a different area to use it or find a boomerang. I can always go replay that level, but that's what I remember off the top of my head.

From vauge recollection, I think you just shoot the switches as you ride the moving platform

Yeah, I went through it again last night. You're on the spot with the lightning barriers, right? You need to get all your guys on the little L-Shaped block, then shoot the switches as you ride by. If you miss a switch you fall off and have to wait until the platform comes back.

I always just skip that part by going through the spike field with my hammer.

But that way, you miss like 20 chests, 2 of which are big bombs.

In order to go past the electric fields in the Dark Cloud, you must hit the switches while you're on the moving platform. Try doing this with one link to make it easier to aim.
