Second time through tWW ? (Spoiler! Eek!)

I apologize most humbly if this is a repeat. I am still quite new, so please forgive me

As I was playing through tWW the second time, I noticed an odd thing. Now, as most people know you can understand Ancient Hylian when you play the game through a second time. When you talk to Jabun you can actually understand him.

As Jabun talks to tKoRL he says something along the lines of, "Does this mean you have found the hero of time?" (Something like that.) and good old KoRL says something like "Unfortunately, that is not so. This one has no connection to the legendary one."

Question: Does this indicate that Link in tWW is not a descendant of Link from OoT?

If the Hero of Time really disappeared like it says in the legend at the beginning.. this would make sense. (I suppose he could've just died of old age, though.) Although, the coat of arms shield thing in Link's house kind of confuses me then. Maybe I was wrong in assuming that Link is a decendant of Link just like Tetra/Zelda is a descendant of Zelda. Maybe the KoRL just isn't sure at this point? Please add your insight and opinions.

Okay, the link in tWW is not descendant from the Hero of time, he is just a regular boy who starts out on a quest to save his sister. he never meant to end up saving the world

And that shield in Link's house.. it is quite different from the shield OoT Link and MM Link used. Also, it's quite small so it can't be the same one.

Nope, just ad Malonlover and Hero of Winds said, they are not descendants. I am sure the KoRL knows what he is saying, and that shield which was in grandmas house is very different than other shields in the other games.

I think you guys forget that that was before the triforce appeared on Link's hand. For the sake of my imagination, I'm gonna say he is, just for fun .

I think that was added cause before that would have ruined the storyline soooo after you knew the story line u could hav fun and know whta it was all about.

Link is not a descendent, though it does state that it is the hero of time's shield, even though it looks nothing like it.

I doubt every Link is related to the other, to say the least.

Na, the wind waker link is not related to any of the previous links before him. This link is just an ordinary child who gets wound up in the legend because

As far as the shield goes, it could very well be that it’s a common shield of any ancient Hylian soldier (oh and it isn’t like the shields other than the mirror shield in OoT or MM were unique only to Link, you could buy them in stores or get them off of other soldiers...)

I have been wondering a lot about the storyline of the game but this clears it up... Finally.

The shield in the game could be the Hero of Time's shield quite easiley. Remember he is still alive after OOT and MM, so maybe at some point he got a new shield.

In the beginning, tKotRL choose Link because he (Link) is searchig for his sister, and in order to do that, he willl face Ganondorf. Of course, never pased for King's head that THIS little child would have something in common with the Legendary Hero, taht's why he give a negative response to Jabun0s question ... (and c'mon, do you really think that the Nintendo people will spoiled something like that SO EARLY in the game?!! - Give them some credit, is part of the emotion of the game ).

Is after Link complete all the shared-parts of the Triforce of Courage, when is REVEALED that HE (Link) is THE Hero; and like he have the WIND under his command (not the TIME), is called the Hero of Wind. And, if after this you have any doubt, Ganondorf himself ADMITS that this little-stone-in-his-shoes (a.k.a Link ) is the incarnation of the Hero of Time: the same pesty-kid who defeated some time ago... and, of course defeated again (and what in a GREAT way ... )
