Hey guys, what's goin' down. Now, ever since I played and beat Wind Waker, there were two things on my mind.
1. I need to play Ocarina of Time now... 2. I need to learn how to play the openning song. Well, I started OoT, but I'm no where with the second goal. See, I loved loved loved that tune, the one that starts as soon as you put the disk in. Starts with a flute, violin in it. You know. I found the sheet music. Too damn bad I don't play a piano, huh? So my request or question is: does anyone have a version for a violin only, or does anyone know how to convert the notes over for the violin? Anyone want to try? I'd love it. Odds of it happening is slim to none, I know, but it didn't hurt to ask. Thanks! |

Re: Openning Sheet Music? Violins? What?
Well first off I'd like to say: Welcome to the boards my friend! Ok, now with that over with (I'm just kidding), back to bussiness(sp?). Personally, I'm not one who works with music and/or creating Zelda themed music, but I sure do know somebody. The guy's name is SER. He's a member here in these boards, but I haven't seen him around for quite a bit. Probably if you look up his name in the "Members List" and give him a PM, send an e-mail, or chat with him in IM, I'm sure that he'll help you more than I can. Well that is all the help I can give you. Hope it will help. If you do see SER, tell him BGS sent you.

Re: Openning Sheet Music? Violins? What?
Problem is, I don't even remember which string is which on my violin!!
; I took a class for half a year three years ago, and now I can't remember anything. I'm attaching the sheet music for you. Ah, it would be awesome to play it via piano like you. *sighs*Here are the two pages: http://basiik.neopages.net/title1.gif http://basiik.neopages.net/title2.gif Oh, I sure hope you can help me out. *crosses fingers* |

Re: Openning Sheet Music? Violins? What?
Ah, you're in luck.
If you do remember the strings on the violin, you can just play the treble clef line, and you will be able to play the melody! (the bass clef is the harmony, which I don't think that you will be able to play alone. If I'm not mistaken, the violin can play 1 or two notes at a time, right? If so, then you should just try to play the melody. However, the intoduction should be playable for you, even with there being 2 notes in the treble line. Oh and also, thanks a lot for the music! I'm gonna try to play it myself. Last edited by Reamia; 07-12-2004 at 02:31 PM. |
