I've just completed the windwaker!

Ive just completed the windwaker. Yay, i took me 6 days to finish, but i dont go on my gamecube that much...so its not bad i thi9nk. Anyway, i just want to ask, did anyone find the last bosses(phantom ganon, puppet ganon and ganon himself)really really easy? I was expecting a challenege or maybe ganon to be a bit more powerful, he was way to easy. What do you all think?

Yeh, Unfortunately TWW Ganon Is Really Easy.. The Only One That Annoyed Me Was Puppet Ganon.. But Even He Was Easy As Long As You Hit His Tail.. I Think That Is What Zelda '05 Needs.. A Really Hard Final Battle With Ganon

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

Well, let me just say epona04, well done on completing Wind Waker!

I thought Puppet Ganon was lethal on my first go It was really my lack of aiming with Light Arrows that did it, I think. Phantom Ganon was pretty easy, but I can get the rhythm wrong at times, but otherwise no real problems with those two. Now, Ganon himself was as easy as tying shoelaces. I found him to be not as powerful as he made himself out to be. So there's a lesson kids: When making threats, always makesure you can back them up. Seriously, I think it was the 'Counter' move that Link has (When 'A' icon flashes). I think that made him a little easy to combat. If it had been straight up with Ganon simply countering the Counter move all the time, I think it might have been harder. Zelda I don't think should have been there to make it easier with her firing Light Arrows at him (which could also hit you). It should have been a one-on-one sword epic battle.

You know the funny thing about that is that i forgot you could do that counter move lol...so i spent about an hour or so trying to defeat Ganon with just my sword and trying to roll to the side quick enough to hit him!! man it was annoying!! lol...

Oh!!..and Congrats Epona04 ^_^

I agree, what is with that reflecting arrow thing, why cant you shoot him yourself! It is because of this easy final boss battle that i feel cheated. I dont feel happy i have completed it because it was sooooo easy!!

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

Yes I agree ganon was far too easy.

But I think it was better than Oot, not in difficulty, but the fact that it was
a sword fight. I also didn't realy mind Zelda fighting, as it added something new.

Puppet ganon should deffinetly return in the next game, and I'd like another
rematch (swords only) with ganon. But they should make it almost imposible
to hit him, kind of like dark Link in Oot, mixed with WW ganon.

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

Well, he was easy, definitely! ^____^

I found the caterpillar one quite annoying, as did the spider one. Puppet Ganon was a walk in the park, and Ganondorf at the end wasn't much more difficult.

On another note, the setting for the final battle was great! I loved how the water spilled down at the edge of the area, and how you actually had a good swordfight with Ganondorf, also, I liked how Zelda played a more interactive part in this battle. ^_^

Also, congratulations on beating The Wind Waker! *gives cookie*

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

Great job!

I feel so pathetic. I hated fighting Ganon. I mean, hitting him with a sword was easy. It always is. But aiming those light arrows into him was annoying, especially with my brother yelling at me in the background about how easy it was and how terrible a Link I am. That always makes things more difficult.

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

Ganon would of been hard, If Zelda didnt keep on telling you what to do, It would of been better If it was a mental challenge.

Puppet Ganon- Damn him..>_o

Phantom Ganon- Easier than pranking a three year old child with a bad case of gingevitus.

But still, congratulations. Now complete the second quest.

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

Ummm congrats?!

As you can easily see, it was an easy game (like everyone has already mentioned thus far). Since we are in the middle of the Summer and we won't see a new Zelda game until next spring (at least that's when I'm assuming tMC is coming out), you could go through the "special quest" and play through the game again. Your first run through, you did it in 6 days. I bet you could beat that record by 1-3 days if you really had nothing else to do for the week.

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

First off, good job!
Now, with the final Phantom Ganon encounters, it was easy, as you can just kill them with Light Arrows. With Puppet Ganon, I thought the battle was very easy, but only because I am good with the Hero's Bow. However, I can easily understand how people think he is hard to beat, as some cannot aim well. Ganondorf, though, was very easy, but I liked that battle a lot. I think the reason it was fun to play was because of Princess Zelda's active involvement, which made the battle quite a treat, and also the scenery. The water effects in the final battle made it seem very epic and it was a great way to finish the game- underwater.

Re: I've just completed the windwaker!

I also believe the Ganon battle was really epic. I would have been dissapointed if it wasn't. It was all good while i was playing the final battle, but after i finished i was like "aw, is that all"
