FSA help!

I just bought the game and i am now in the coast. My question are these:

1. How can i beat those Zora things!? The Slingshot, bombs, boomeragns do not work!

2. Those blue Octork creatures...How do i beat them??? I try hitting them with the sword, bombing them, stunning them then hitting them with the sword, they are still unharmed!

3. can the walkthrough for the FS (the origonal) work with the FSA?

Those things are driving me nuts! >_<;

My best advise (for now) of you Aragorn is to PM Mute about this. So far, it sounds like he is the only one that has bought the game, and told us about it here at ZU. I think it sounds like he is further than the first stage (I don't know, he hasn't said that much) so ask him, I'm of no use...except for this though. FS and FSA are sorta completly different games (gosh I hope that made sence). I don't think the FS walkthrough will help you at all in this game. However, probably knowing the stragedies on how to kill some enemies will. If they had blue octorcks in FS as well as FSA, probably ZU can help you there in their section of the FS walkthrough or whatever. I hope I have helped you along your way.

Sorry, but there were no blue Ocktoroks in FS.

I can't beat the Zoras either but I bought the guide and it says to go into the shiny sparkling whirlpool, find th great fairy in it, throw in your boomerang, then go get the slingshot from elsewhere in the cave, and throw it in the fountsin for a level two slinshot and use that to beat them, but I keep dying.

Ha! I beated them! (I'm now in the Death Mountain Trail)

Okay, here's how you kill the Zoras:

You get the #2 slingshot, stand on the small island and hold A, then FIRE!!!!! It will fire three Deku Seeds. I strongly recommend that you position the 4 Links in a horizontal way, facing the Zoras. Dodge any fire balls that they hack at you, and fire at them. That is what i did to beat them.


Now i am stuck at the trail, i kill all the guards, i managed to beat one of the Shadow Links, but the other one runs away. How do you get on top of the cliff?

Ok - get a bomb flower, bring it to the far right edge of the cliff, and blow open a hole.

No, no, no, no, no... I also have FSA FYI and I'm very far in it.. level 5-2 boo-ya!!

Okay for the DMT once near the cliff you first defeat everything.... okay done?... now grab a bomb-flower, and go near the cliff's right side and bomb the far left of the brown dirt near the cliff.. okay once inside the cave leave one Link on the switch under one of the pots.. grab the bow at the top and exit.. then go to the left side of the cliff, and near the adjecent edge keep stabbing the wall from right to left until a weirder sound is made... and bomb that section, and fire at the eyes with your one Link... then you can press L and continue on. I anyone needs help I'm working on beating it myself

Level 5-2? Is that where you are in the feilds??? I'm there as well, on 5-1, when you help Malon return home.
Okay, How do you kill the red-eyed spiders? How do you get pass that level?

I know, i'm blazing through thanks to a walkthrough from GameF&Q.

What is 5-2? What is it about?

You're on the fields still? Geez.... I'm in the forest.

You kill the spiders with the bow.... I'll go into details later if you still need them

I can get to the part where you have to flip over lillies and all, i'm thinking, what do i gotta do after that.

I can't remember the situation after that so if you could refresh my memory I might be able to help.. Myself I am stuck at the fifth temple.... I think I am at least.... oh yeah at that stupid part with the buttons.... What do you do with the slingshot??!!! I'm confused.. Oh well I'll go figure it out I guess....

Wow, this game must be very easy. I got the game a day or two ago, and I am on world two. I haven't played it much, but so far this game has not been a challenge at all. Does this game get any harder?

It goes from incredibly easy.. to "I need Aspirin" Hard...

..It does get hard, and you'll eventually need some aspirin trust me... especially when the game glitches on you like it just did to me at 5-3 when I was one room from the boss... stupid bumpers!!

I was just wondering. (Compare it to ALttP and/or tWW) How long do you think it will take to complete FSA? People always say it took them 3 days to finish tWW (hopefully they ment 72 hours in total), and others say weeks. It took me about 2 weeks to finish tWW and about 2-3 months to finish ALttP (these are the time limit the first time I played them through). My gues is (for myself, and possibly for others) FSA will take 2-6 weeks to beat the game.

I think it may take 2 to 5 weeks for me to beat FSA. I don't think it's going to really take 3 years to beat it. That was just me joking on the fact that it gets harder when you progress through the levels
